Done. Those clips were distressing - those poor mothers trying to do their best but being so badly informed. How is this any different from cigarette companies claiming that their products were good for you all those years ago, when they knew full well that they weren't? It seems to me that saying a child will be more intellegent if formula fed ("Give your child a head start in early learning") is a blatant lie, not just a bit unethical.

Hunker, I know that...but, tbh, I tend to avoid such topics full stop....if anyone does ask why I do boycott Nestle, I have no problem explaining, however
I have been asked about it ebfore, in a supermarket of all places...because someone overheard me saying to my Kids that WE don't buy Nestle stuff, and they were intrigued as to why, I suppose....!
Also, was offered some kind of taster in a supermarket, which was somehting or other Nestle and I was asked why I didn't want it, so, I explained to the poor unfortunate saleswoman, lol...!

Hunker I know and its about more but I think sometimes on MN I feel less than adequate with some of the things people say without thinking.

exactly.i made an informed choice to ff after a disaterous attempt at bf ds1,i know,becaue in this country we are'nt lied to,that bf is the best thing for babies,but at least we arent taking risks with polluted water if we ff our babies here.
