The old thread takes too long to load.

Lets hope this is the one that contains the good news that she has been found alive and well.

You can assume all you like Frostyflake but will your assumptions be any more likely than the detective work on this thread? Probably not.

ThatBeetroot · 17/05/2007 12:17

NKF - you got there first -

frostyflake · 17/05/2007 12:19

Oh ,lets all back each other up!!!!

How very cliquey

pinballwizard · 17/05/2007 12:20

I think it is an attempt to inject some common sense

NKF · 17/05/2007 12:21

Cliquey! That's one of those MN words that is supposed to make people shiver with fear isn't it? Along with judgemental.

As a new person to Mumsnet, I cannot quite believe some of the revolting and nasty comments some of you witches have made - it's pathetic. If you're not interested in Madeliene and her safe return, dont look at the thread - it's called freedom of choice and it's a fairly simple concept.
I dont understand what you get out of such bitchiness - you're so busy accusing others of being sad cases, when you should really be looking a bit closer to home. Laughable - for all the wrong reasons. Why dont you get and play with your kids. Not a great impression of some of my mumsnet contemporaries so far I have to say.

Here's hoping Madeliene is returned home soon.

tortoiseSHELL · 17/05/2007 12:30

This thread ceased to be about Madeleine when dreams were brought in to it.

ThatBeetroot · 17/05/2007 12:32

hubble bubble toil and trouble

NKF · 17/05/2007 12:33

Why when people get cranky, do they start saying "go and play with your kids".

schmirdle · 17/05/2007 12:33

Yes, but that's just one or two people. I just think some people are trying to come across and witty and provocative, which I think is wholly inappropriate.

NKF · 17/05/2007 12:34

And this thread isn't about the child's safe return. Surely no-one is deluded enough to think they are helping the police find her.

ThatBeetroot · 17/05/2007 12:34

yes - my kids are at school - actually two of them have a half day as it is ascension day but they are with their mates and wuold not appreciate me playing with them in Starbucks

NKF · 17/05/2007 12:35

It's just a cheesy little insult. Basically, it's saying "bad mother for being on MN". Whereas if someone was posting some utter tripe about dream analysis, it would be okay.

schmirdle · 17/05/2007 12:36

yeah right NFK, course it is

ThatBeetroot · 17/05/2007 12:36

I guess though I should get back to work

NKF · 17/05/2007 12:36

Well, why did you say it then?

AitchTwoOh · 17/05/2007 12:37

you tell 'er, schmirdle!

AitchTwoOh · 17/05/2007 12:37

am i bovvered, nkf? lol.

Rhubarb · 17/05/2007 12:38

This thread is just so very very upsetting.

I have never known such vile come from such a sad news story.

I wish MNHQ would delete it.

Please can't you all just agree to disagree and stop making such a sad sad situation even worse?

DevilsAdvocado · 17/05/2007 12:38

It's like it's an insult

NKF · 17/05/2007 12:38

Because of course the kids are locked away in the cupboard while I spar with the fruitcakes. Can one spar with a fruitcake?
