The old thread takes too long to load.

Lets hope this is the one that contains the good news that she has been found alive and well.

Step away from the thread and you realise how lunatic it actually is. And how removed and detached from the ACTUAL SITUATION it is.

NKF · 17/05/2007 11:11

Hah! They're like weeds. As soon as the rain goes away, they'll be back. Peeping their litte heads above the parapet, bleating about their wounded feelings and how unkind people are. Sky News will come on and it will be as if the sun has come out.

oliveoil · 17/05/2007 11:12

am I the only one that scans these threads and thinks who the fock are all these people

it's like the moggeling ones

Piffle · 17/05/2007 11:13

Exactly Enid I had thought this site was more like THe Independent or a more competently grammared version of the Guardian

This last few days
You are totally Daily Mirror and it sucks.

Everyone wants some miraculous happy ending to this awful thing.

Speculation is just so base

Wolfgirl · 17/05/2007 11:13

You are all hypocrites accusing QM of being on MN and minding the kids; pot calling the kettle black, me thinks

nailpolish · 17/05/2007 11:14

wolfie we dont get paid for it

oliveoil · 17/05/2007 11:14

I am at work so ner

my children are at playgroup or with grandma

pfffffffff

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 17/05/2007 11:17

Also the people on these threads who are happy to speculate and who complain when being told not to do so but who are the first to tell someone to stop posting that Madeleine might be dead. Double standard. If you're prepared to speculate then speculation should include all possibilities, the greatest of which his that Madeleine is dead.

wannaBeWhateverIWannaBe · 17/05/2007 11:18

and now I am off to collect my child and another child for a playdate.

mistymoor · 17/05/2007 11:19

Some people hide their emotions
Some people show them

Some people need to talk
Some people keep it to themselves

Some people are doers
Some people do nothing

Some people are positive
Some people are negative

Some people are optimistic
Some people are pesamistic

No one quality in someone is better than another.

If you don't like this thread then don't click on it and read it.
But allow others who feel the need to freedom to do so without being bullied and hounded off it.

Have some respect considering the circumstances.

debbsyandsonn · 17/05/2007 11:20

im off to to spend some quality time with my ds x

oliveoil · 17/05/2007 11:20

you can 'discuss' (slobber) over this all you want

but put something else in the title of the thread

there are tons of madeline threads fgs

debbsyandsonn · 17/05/2007 11:21

excellent post mistymoor

oliveoil · 17/05/2007 11:21

yes, classic

ledodgy · 17/05/2007 11:23

I clicked on this thread because it is entitled news updates and the children are watching cbeebies so I can't watch the news channel atm. However this thread is so far from news updates it's laughable.

MrsSpoon · 17/05/2007 11:26

This was meant to be a continuation of the news thread that has been running since day one which many of us have found very useful.

Not much news on it and surprise, surprise loads of nasty stuff.

I've had enough.

OP posts:
Londonmamma · 17/05/2007 11:32

There are people on here who want to talk about Madeleine McCann. There are others who don't.

PLEASE COULD THE TWO GROUPS STICK TO DIFFERENT THREADS.

It's really not so hard, is it??

lollypopmax · 17/05/2007 11:36

i have just stumbled on mumsnet by accident and after reading the tripe that you lot are spouting about this it enraged me enough to sign up. unfortunatley i have to go and do the nursery run...(angry)

NKF · 17/05/2007 11:39

There are people who say they want to talk about Madeleine McCann but really they want to harrow up their feelings, speculate ghoulishy and fancy themselves as detectives.

ThatBeetroot · 17/05/2007 11:40

lollypopmax · 17/05/2007 11:40

so it seems. people should be ashamed of themselves.

Londonmamma · 17/05/2007 11:41

Speccy - I am not one of the ones who wants to discuss Madeleine M'Cann
