This is slipping from the news and the police are starting to scale down their seraches.

Evidence seems to suggest that Madeline may have been taken to Spain and yet very few people out there are aware of what has happened or what she looks like etc.

We need to send as many emails as we can to Spanish businesses with a poster attachment and highlight this case.

I need mumsnetters to volunteer.

I have called in sick today to get this started but this is a massive task and I cannot do it on my own.

We are trying to get as many people as possible to spread the news of Madeleine's dissapearance.

There are a number of posters that can be sent as email attachments and we are trying to get as many sent as possible to contacts in Spain (plus any other European country if you have contacts there)

Please add your email address to here if you would like me to send you a poster attachment. I also have some Spanish Translations here if you need them.

I sent loads to the States and south africa

jsut spoken to El Pais news desk.

They are already covering the story and a plea from David Beckam has already been filmed.

In terms of media coverage in my opinion it is already being covered.

What is needed now is to contact expats to print and distribute in Spain the posters.

Perhaps it will be worth it contacting association of expats who have the spare time to do the distribution on the ground.

It will be best if they have the posters printed themselves and then just give them to the businesses to print.

Bear in mind that is the weekend and lots of companies are not open now until Monday.
