Anyone else think it rather tragic how Dannielle did her fawning to Shilpa after Jade told her what what was going on.

I thought that Jade was actually rather strong in her Davina interview tonight (and Davina was better than expeced, but not as good as she could have been) and I think she is realising it is O-V-E-R!

AND - the Jade and Jack relationship is WEIRD....strange consolation, strange goodbye......she is SO dumped (assuming he is only with her cos she's famoous.....Christ knows why she is with him)

it has all been put up now i think by big brother telling them what to say,more than a coincidence that they started to apologise and be nice to her ,they are all very shallow people,agree that davina wasnt too bad but like you i think it could of been stronger.still to to go though !jack looks like a little boy lost now

That was all completely staged. Jade showed absolutely no surprise that there was no crowd, she had clearly rehearsed what she was going to say and had been told to be contrite, apologise and look sad.

I suspect that none of what was on last night was actually live. It was all pre-planned as a damage limitation exercise.

I agree 100% Freckle. It was so clear she knew what was going on.

And all that apologising - it was just words coming out of her mouth. She didn't actually seem very contrite 'I'm not going to sit here and try and justify, blah, blah' when that's exactly what she was doing. Just blithering.

totally agree - seemed a lot of back pedaling was trying to go on, but was deffo about damage control.

jade said she isn't racist because if she was a racist she wouldn't have eaten the food shipla made. jade doesn't understand how subtle racism can be.

All we can do is avoid any media with Jade in it. MAx Clifford will do his best, but if sales drop because Jade s on a paper, then he can't do much to help her. Please just let her disappear.

Do you reckon that Danielle and Jo are going to get the same sort of reaction when they come out? In my opinion they are worse than Jade. Jade's main problem imo is that she has got a terrible temper and could probably benefit from anger management. But the other two have just egged her on (how gutted did they look when Shilpa and Jade made up?), and Danielle especially has been far more insidiously racist towards Shilpa.

Actually I don't think Davina's interview with Jade was live. Because right at the end, when Davina was summing up, there was a little editing glitch and her words got cut off, and went straight to the sound of the audience cheering/clapping.

I must admit I am not keen on many of them in the BB house, the program should be axed.

Freckle - that is exactly what my Dh said - it is all staged to make the best of a bad scenario for Jade and Endemol. I bet Endemol were too worried that an interview with a totally surprised Jade would be far too risky and unpredictable - God knows what she might have accidentally come out with or stormed off etc etc in a real emotional state - possibly even defensive and digging a bigger hole for her and Endemol. Davina (nice person) is not a good interviewer in terms of thinking on her feet and being strong and focussed - there was no way they could leave it up to her to direct and manage a wound up Jade in such an International hot spot situation. To be fair, if I were making the decisions about that interview I would have staged it by prepping Jade, helping her understand the importance of being contrite etc, encouraging Davina to look stern and serious but not to push too hard in case Jade snapped...ho hum.

As much as I like to have a dig at the Daily Mail - that article is very very well written - thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading it - if enjoyed is the right term. Will be fascinating to see how this affects Jo and Danielle now and future.

I hope that the tide of opinion does not turn, that people don?t start to fall for Jade?s "shock and disgust" nonsense. We all know she is not very bright - you don?t have to be bright, just decent, civil to others with a little bit of respect would be nice. I don?t care if she has no idea where East Anglia is but I do care about seeing someone acting in such a nasty vicious way.

D'you know I can't help thinking that I would have had a weeny bit more respect for Jade if she had come out and said 'bollox to the lot of ya, if you think I am racist so be it, but I still can't stand Shilpa'

And I caught the bit last night where Danielle was whispering to Shilpa in bed, backtracking and trying to save herself. Awful. When these girls see this, they have got to cringe horribly, it's just so shallow.

But I don't think there was any secret that Jade was going to be briefed before her exit for her own wellbeing, I'm sure I read it in a paper or a website. Yes she has been a bully, but the programme makers still have a responsibility towards her.

Jools, I don't think Danielle saw that somehow or perhaps she didn't understand it, PMSL.

UCM couldn't agree more - i'd have more time for jade if she'd come out and said yes I said xyz, this is me we didn't get on, it wasn't cos she's this or that it's just as a person we didn't like each other. instead they put on a fake scence (I feel) and th whole thing is/was staged. and as for this comment:

well you know what if u don't approve of anything you have said/done then perhaps she should have thougth about it before saying it all. partly I feel that she was going along with the arguemtn iycwim - as in the heat etc and trying to provoke/goad shilpa and half the things she might well not have ment BUT if she didn't mean them and she was so concerned about the impact why the hell didn't she say somehing once tehy'd both calmed down the following morning - why did they wait so long?

I know if I personally upset someone or soemthing and was living with them i'd want the air cleared straight away - off my own back not cos it had been replyed to me and i'd be told to say sorry.

at least she looked ashamed of herself., she was i think gobsmacked by her own vitriol..she knows she is finished. the thing is, i think her temper and general gobbiness is so deeply ingrained, it will actually not be diminished by this episode. she did not do nearly enough grovelling however.

FWIW...being rude and aggressive cannot be excused by saying, i;m abrupt, i say what i think, take me how i am.....sometimes you have to engage the brain before speaking !

But her backtracking is so insincere it's dementing. I don't think she means a word of it, which to me is worse than her having the strength to stand by her convictions. At least thats honest even if it's racist/foul mouthed/bullying, none of which are right
