The only thing keeping me going is seeing the backlash. She has made a huge mistake. Doesn't she realise that millions of people are watching her?
On bbbm last night 75% of the people were basically saying Shilpa brings it on herself but I don't agree.
She is a lady, which is far from what the other 3 witches are

bb won't interveen . because the more they let it continue, the more coverage it will gain in the press and the more people will tune in to watch it.

And tbh I think the fact that people are still watching it says as much about them as it does about the trahsh itself.

Of course jade realises that millions of people are watching. The mistake she makes is believing that those millions share her totally abhorrent views.

Well if you are going to complain it is best to watch it so you know what you are complaining about

On last nights show when BB had Danielle in the Diary room and asked her what she meant when she said Shilpa should "Eff off back home" I think she might have clicked how bad that is.
I am pretty sure the 3 girls will be out of a "career" when they get out. And rightly so.
Jack is just as bad as the girls IMO but it doesn't seem to get noticed.

but a lot of the types that watch cbb probably do think like that. after all 21000 complaints out of 4000000 viewers isn't exactly a huge proportion is it.

didn't know danielle/jo had careers before this - thought jo was a has-been and is now a dog breeder and danielle is a wag so she's a nobody anyway.

Turning off the TV or saying don't watch it won't make the issues people are discussing go away.

If anything I think it's been quite enlightening for some people.

batters, with regard to Danielle and the conversation with BB, that's actually the only bit of the whole programme I've seen - don't normally watch.
My thoughts were that her hesitant apologies were not genuine - she was responding to a stern off-camera brief to say sorry pronto. IMO she clearly didn't really comprehend what she had to apologise for
From people's comments on here, from press coverage and clips I've seen on the news, it sounds like racist bullying to me.
And the "clash-of-cultures" "I don't know any better" defence is used in court-rooms up and down the country to try to get people off charges of racist abuse, harrassment and even assault. So it is a major problem in British society and you just blush for what India must be thinking of this country right now

This is f**ing farcical. It's like the days of the stocks or public executions. Channel 4 & Endemol must be rubbing their hands with glee. They're playing you all for fools! People will phone in their droves to vote off Jade or keep in Shilpa and the programmes makers will mint it. If it makes you squirm or you think it's racist, bullying, ignorant or don't like the fact that Jade has made money from being thr ignorant cretin that the British seem to love so much these days then TURN THIS SHIT OFF. It can't be that difficult can it??

I really don't think there is any doubt that they are being racist allbeit unknowingly through ignorance. Ignorance is not an excuse, in face if anything it makes me feel that it shows how intrenched racisim is for many people.

How do we prove that Jade and Co do not represent all of us? Easy vote Shillpa to win and ensure that the rest of them die a media death ie. dissappear.

Jade will say that she is mixed race and therefore can't be racist, but that doesn't wash you can be pro one race and anti another.

I think that C4 are doing the right thing in letting them get on with it because they are digging their own holes and Shillpa is proving to be amazing. She has kept her cool and only been dignified and astute - her comment to Jade about this being what she is famous for was totally fab.

I think she is sorriest about the fact someone has told her she is in deep trouble tbh. Not that she has been offensive and racist.

Whether it's racist or not it is irrelevent. The fact is Shilpa is being ganged up on by three supposed adults who should know better. They have got some serious growing up to do. I personally don't watch CBB, but I've seen enough of the clips to see what demeaning treatment that poor woman has had to endure. The last time I have ever seen such disgusting behaviour, was when I was at school. I think Shilpa is a lovely, talented, dignified woman and she has handled herself in a very adult fashion. I do wonder why she signed up for CBB in the first place, but I guess that she didn't expect to be treated in this fashion (and why should she??) plus it is supposed to be for charity.
Perhaps she should use her black belt in karate to know some sense into those silly little slappers. But I guess that would be a bad idea, she shouldn't allow herself to react to other people's petty behaviour. She is so far above them that they can barely see the soles of her feet. I think BB should immediately evict Danielle, Jo and Jade in disgrace.

I watched for the first time last night and almost cried at the fact that there are still peoplein Britian, who think Jade and Danielle's comments are just a 'genuine misunderstanding of culture.' Do you have any idea how awful it is to be in a room while people talk about you the way they talk about Shilpa? Shilpa is being judged on her race, not her personality (which, yes, is a little spoilt)

It would be good to see the others stand up to her. Can understand that they are afraid to rise their heads above the parapets - that's what bullies rely on, isn't it? - but it would be great to see. Jade will probably get booted out before that can happen, unfortunately, so justice won't really have been done.

Does anyone else feel like they are watching Jade dig her own grave? Every time I see a clip on tv I think she's sinking lower and lower. Perhaps that's why BB haven't said anything to her - there is a slightly surreal justice to the fact that reality tv made her career and hopefully it will kill it stone dead.

What a sad indictment of our culture that someone who is speaking English as a second language is so much more coherent and eloquent than these three undignified slappers!

Shilpa is holding her own very well and is dignified but she shouldn't have to put up with this....it was hard to watch last night. How contorted with rage and bile was Jade's face? Over one comment? I pity her children.
