lulumama · 27/11/2006 13:23

mummynetter · 27/11/2006 13:25

sorry but i thought it was only blokes.
i would of thought it would be a dream come true for two teenagers to go with an older woman.

It may be a dream but its very illegal.

Paedophiles are just thick rimmed glasses wearing shirtlifters, believe it or not.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/11/2006 13:27

arent ARENT just shirtlifters.....

grr at myself.

NomDePlume · 27/11/2006 13:28

When you are 14, 39 is not 'an older woman'. 39 is ancient.

When the lad is 18+ and the woman is 30+ then maybe I can see the older woman allure argument, but these boys were children.

sandyballs · 27/11/2006 13:28

They can but I'd say it's highly unusual.

pesme · 27/11/2006 13:28

paedophiles are normally men and attracted to prepubescent children. men or woman who abuse post pubescent children are normally known as sex offenders (had big discussion with sister who works in this field at the weekend).

suzywong · 27/11/2006 13:29

mummynetter does have a point though, of course there are elements of manipulation, abuse of trust, power play and deviousness, but .....oh God how to say this.....teenage boys do have a sexual energy that they need to put somewhere and if offered a release that is even slightly conventional (albeit with an adult) then the boys may see it as a tow way thing.

I am prepared to be shot down in flames and I 'm sorry if I've come across as insentsitive.

You're not dadslib are you mummynetter?

mummynetter · 27/11/2006 13:29

so 15 yr old boys aint at it at that age. come off it, most have had sex at that age.

OP posts:
zippitippitoes · 27/11/2006 13:29

why would it be a dream come true?

i don't think so

NomDePlume · 27/11/2006 13:30

mummynetter - just because a person is sexually active DOES NOT mean that they are immune to being preyed upon by sexual predators.

zippitippitoes · 27/11/2006 13:31

but women do get involved with the abuse of infant children

mummynetter · 27/11/2006 13:31

very true suzy

you may be a sexuallyactive teenager or not it doesn't mean that someone in a position of authorityisn't abusing that authority..there are quite a few particular terms regarding the actual name for it there is another kind of something phile too

NomDePlume · 27/11/2006 13:33

I have a DS who will be 15 in May, so he is the same age as these boys were at the time of the (alledged) assaults. I know FOR A FACT that he would not be 'tempted' by a 39 year old woman. Present him with an nubile 18 year old and he would be champing (or is it chomping ?) at the bit, I'm sure.

i know what you are saying SW. there may be less harm caused by this woman's abuse than that caused by abuse of a different nature involving younger children. It's still abusive though.

NomDePlume · 27/11/2006 13:34

Indeed Lockets.
