I think she did have strong feelings for him. She had decided to tell him she loved him after all.

I thought I would start reading up, as Monday is nearly upon us.

Some of the posts are interesting, but some are just plain weird.

When was it stated that OP called Reeva a "ho"

Where is this coming from that OP resented Reeva's career?

Where is the evidence that his sponsors were getting twitchy with him - from what I had seen his star was very much in the ascendant? In fact he had just signed a deal with M-Net and was promoting their Oscar coverage, as well as signing back up with Nike.

Where on earth are some posters finding information that OP's management were pushing their relationship to get sponsors back on side.

And OP needing Reeva's celebrity status? Really?

Where is this information, presented as fact, coming from?

Yes, Nerf, and I do believe in that she said that she didn't want to "taint" their relationship - I believe because he was high profile.

I mean, to say, or believe, that Oscar Pistorius would have needed Reeva Steenkamp's celebrity to further his own career. I don't know what I can say about that

I am clearly following the wrong people on twitter, reading the wrong news articles and obviously walking around with my peepers closed

I prefer to take it all on face value. They met (through mutual friends), they dated, they got serious, they argued sometimes... So far so normal IMO. I am sure there were people around them who disapproved and of course Sam Taylor probably wasn't happy, but I see no evidence for strategic plotting by agents and advisors.

I think it would be pertinent to know what OP's meeting was about the day she wrote the WhatsApp messages about not being able to counsell him and suggesting he might want to spend time with his family though.

Yes, Stack. It would be good to know what that meeting was about. It may have influenced OP's mood that night.

It's not a case of disagreeing, if you had read what I had said you would see that.

It is merely challenging some self-appointed arbiter of truth to state where they get their information from.

When a poster writes, "I believe", my interpretation is, that what follows is not a fact but an opinion.
When another poster writes, "shite statements", my interpretation is, one of confrontation and belittling; but that's just me and my opinion.

A Timeline of Circumstantial Evidence:

Wednesday 14:45. Reeva meets her management team at Capacity Relations in Woodmead, Sandton. Simphiwe Majola, her manager says she was excited about upcoming projects.

Capacity Relations has already admitted that they did not consider a public relationship with Pistorius beneficial to Reeva's brand.

Reeva also said in her messages to Pistorius that she wanted to give her career precedence in terms of their relationship. In terms of her/their decision to stall Heat magazine's expose about their relationship (Heat wanted the couple in a Valentine's Day splash) this would confirm a specific strategy aimed at trying to protect her brand.
She leaves the offices at around 15:40. .....................

After Reeva packed her things she struggled with Pistorius, trying to get dressed. At this point he may have wrestled with her or hit her. Then, realising she couldn't get away, Reeva fled to the toilet and locked herself in it. At this stage he was in a vicious rage, and Reeva was terrified. She was screaming for help. To cover himself (still very aware of his reputation, and a possible incident in the media) Pistorius went to the balcony and also shouted help. But what could he do now? How could he prevent this story from coming out?

What was worse, Reeva had her phone with her in the toilet and he had no way of knowing whether she was about to send a message that would mean the collapse of his celebrity house of cards.

I am also aware that several stories appeared in the media following OP's dreadful behavior at the 2012 Olympics. In particular there was an article in Vanity Fair by a sports reporter (McIlvoy? I think) about OP's behaviour in a gym when he was shouting and swearing in front of other gym users including children.

All the evidence is in the public domain about his car, boat and motorbike accidents. He has also said himself that he uses caffiene excessively and often goes out to the gun range in the middle of the night when he can't sleep.
It doesn't take a great stretch of imagination to see that any threat to his 'brand' was his own doing.

Indeed the only time RS's mum ever spoke to him was when he was terrifying RS by speeding in a car and refusing to slow down for her. RS phoned her mum, who demanded to speak to OP. She threatened him if he was ever to harm her daughter she would retaliate. (I can't remember her exact words, sorry).

The relationship was in its infancy, but it is clear it was on a rocky path. RS had mentioned relocating for her career but not as a couple as referred to by OP.

It could be speculated on that as RS's star was rising, op's had at least plateaued.
