I watched a prog on C5 a few weeks ago re the above. I've also spent a fair bit of time researching the case (there's a mountain of docs on the 'Jeremy Bamber Forum') I have a feeling we will be hearing much more about this in the not too distant future Wink Does anyone else think he might be innocent?

I’ve recently read up about this case due to the upcoming docu drama.

There’s doesn’t seem to be any thought given to the possibility that a hitman hired by JB carried out the actual killings. This would explain the total lack of DNA evidence, it would explain the timings of JB having to get from Goldhanger to the farm and back again. It would also explain how JB can easily and without remorse protest his innocence in the killings (and pass the lie detector).

He may have arranged the killings but not actually have carried out the task himself.

Guilty as Sin

Just come across this thread, and despite its age it is still interesting reading.

I never doubted for one moment that he was guilty as charged, until I saw this case on an episode of 'Crimes That Shook Britain' on the Crime +Investigation Channel, and I have to say the information they presented has now got me doubting his guilt. If being an obnoxious person - as some on the thread have stated he is - then his extended family, who gained from his losing out on his inheritance, come across as equally obnoxious in their own way, and their motivations in assisting with any investigation do appear possibly suspect from what that episode showed.

I have to say, my interest in this case has now definitely been piqued.
