These riots are nothing to do with the shooting of Mark Duggan - he was their excuse!!!

Interesting that the urge to 'riot' hasn't spread to other cities, unlike in 1981, when just about every city erupted. Apart from Glasgow.

It appears to be spreading across London, and there are rumours of areas outside of London being affected.

Mark Duggan died on Thursday - the riots started Saturday. Call it a trigger if you want but I don't imagine any of those young 'men' throwing rocks or stealing phones/computers, burning down business's and family flats even know Mark Duggans name!

Having been caught up in Tottenham last night I find it astonishing that the police station was protected while shops and homes were burned. Images on the news show it from one end, around Bruce Grove the mood was ugly as hell and there were no police. Gangs were left free to roam, including gangs from Edmonton and Enfield, who came down for drama, not because of Mark Duggan

Empusa - still in one city, London, and I haven't heard of other cities doing so. iirc, it took a very short space of time (24-48 hours?) for rioting to spread away from one city to another, starting with Liverpool. I say this as it indicates a possible London-centric and Met event rather than it being an accelerant to other inner-city areas.

I hope posters on here can think outside the box. This sort of rioting is normal with a Tory government because they shit on ordinary, hardworking people and they make the rich, richer. Sorry but you thick fuckers should have worked this out sooner.
