Fellatio, bang on.

I would prefer my hard earned tax wasn't used to counsel the family of someone who thinks it's okay to shoot our police officers, frankly.

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 15:56

Yes they may well do lucrezia. And support from the police ought to be forthcoming in that process as well.

Some of you don't seem to understand that this man's family and children are people. It's that sort of attitude that leads to these types of problems in the first place.

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 15:57

cook, I agree, as far as I am concerned if it is found that he was carrying a loaded gun, good riddance. One less criminal to feed in prison or to pay benefits to.

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 15:58

I find it mind-boggling that there is no sympathy on here for at least the children of this man.

What a callous bunch you are.

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 15:58

SQ, they are people, yes. And I'm sorry for their loss/ But it is not the police's job to counsel them for that loss when he brought the whole thing upon himself,it seems.

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 15:59

So if one of your children was shot dead by the police you would think it right and proper that no-one from the organisation that killed him offered you any support?

I am genuinely flabbergasted by the attitudes on here.

cookcleanerchaufferetc · 07/08/2011 15:59

Sq - what about the family of the law abiding police officer who was presumably inches from death? Will the dead mans family offer their apologies to him and his family?

Getting shot would hurt like hell I guess, even if it hit his radio.

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 16:00

Honestly?
What sort of a father carries loaded guns? You'd like a father like that for your kids, hmm?

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 16:01

Lucrezia you patently are not sorry for their loss if you don't think a token bit of support from the people who killed him is appropriate.

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 16:01

SQ, if one of my family was shot dead by a policeofficer he had shot at FIRST, no way on earth would I expect an apology.
Fuck me. Tea and sympathy for armed criminals? Jesus wept.

maypole1 · 07/08/2011 16:02

SardineQueen I would be making sure I wasn't raising a gangsta and that my son clearly new if he was determine to follow that road it will only end in death or prison

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 16:02

SQ, I'm sorry those poor kids had a gun toting gangster for a father, yes.

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 16:02

You don't see these children as real children do you.

You don't see the people of Tottenham as real people.

When the police have this attitude (and time and time again it has been shown that often they do), very bad things can happen.

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 16:03

I'd also add, if one of my kids became a gun toting gangster they'd be out of my life. No love is deep enough to condone violent criminal behaviour.

cookcleanerchaufferetc · 07/08/2011 16:03

Sq - strangely my family don't carry loaded weapons. Why? Because it is illegal! I hope to God my kids grow up to continue to know right and wrong and not be gun carrying scumbags.

Clearly some people dont understand right and wrong!

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 16:04

But not sorry enough, lucrezia, to think that the people who killed their father should spend a little time sitting with them talking to them about it.

So, so callous.

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 16:04

SQ, when criminals carry loaded guns and use them against the police, very bad things can happen.

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 16:04

"I hope to God my kids grow up to continue to know right and wrong and not be gun carrying scumbags. "

Yes you can hope that, it still might happen though.

Al0uiseG · 07/08/2011 16:05

If the police had to apologise to the relatives and wider community every time they apprehended someone, no police work would ever get done.

BulletWithAName · 07/08/2011 16:05

I don't think the police should apologise. He was armed and dangerous. It would be entirely different if, like Jean Charles De Menezes, he was entirely innocent. But he wasn't.

Pan · 07/08/2011 16:05

Sympathy and understanding isn't an either/or scenario. Not is it competitive. Young children will have to be told their father is dead, and it will be a cause celebre for the rest of their lives.

LD - comments about costs in priosn and benefits are callous in the extreme. Invites a state-sponsored murder squad a la south amercican countries one hears of. " kill them - it's cheaper". Really poor attitutude.

SardineQueen · 07/08/2011 16:05

None of you give a monkeys about this blokes kids do you.

I'm hiding this thread. It really has brought out the dregs of MN, I am horrified that people would not even offer 5 mins support to these children on teh news that their father has been killed.

maypole1 · 07/08/2011 16:06

What the he'll are you talking about he shoot at a police officer and if less people in Tottenham had a view like yours it mite make it a better place

You don't care to much about the children or you would be berating this family for staring the whole thing

LucreziaDomina · 07/08/2011 16:07

Pan, shrugs.

Callous? To think I'd prefer our taxes to spent on the elderly and the vulnerable rather than armed thugs?

Oh, okay then? Hmm

cookcleanerchaufferetc · 07/08/2011 16:07

I feel sorry for his kids but their father CHOSE to carry a gun. Their father CHOSE to shoot a policeman. He died.

Because of that person, so many others have got on the band wagon to create chaos and havoc. These people who are burring, looting and rioting etc are scum.

I see them all as people but I CHOOSE not to give a shit about them.

I feel sorry for the people who have had their homes and businesses damaged, for the people scared shitless in their homes, wondering if they are going to be burnt in their flat or beaten up outside their front door.

I have pity and sadness for law abiding people.
