Another tirade from a working mum to SAHM. Why can't we all just accept that we are doing what we believe to be the best for our children? Why this copnstant need to put the other down?!!!!

update from the current issue of Private Eye - apparently the school governor election happened several weeks before that article was published . Lowri was up against her exH, among others, and lost (to the organic box woman mentioned in the article) "by a substantial margin".

Her exH just happens to have been a SAHD to their eldest child - until Lowri booted him out when she was pg with their second "explaining that she was no longer satisfied with being the breadwinner".

well, I think this is interesting, even if no one else does....

She wrote an article all about how useless her ex-h was as a sahd. He couldn't multi task as she expected apparently.

I feel quite that journos can write a pack of self-serving lies (yes, lies, goddammit!! can you tell how I am???!), get published, get paid for it, generate 150-odd guilt-wracked posts on MN, and no one (except the Eye) calls for Lowri's fat head on a plate.

Interesting update to this in Private Eye this week. Apparently the school election was the week before she wrote the article and guess who didn't get elected? Yup. Ms Turner. And guess who did? Her 'worthless' (according to her) ex-husband, who was the main sah parent to their son before she got fed up with it and threw him out. She is, apparently, now a total pariah at school. Ha!
