Yet another wonderful aspect of allowing millions of people into the country. The NHS is suffering a mid wife crisis in large part to the high birth rate amongst immigrant mothers.

No doubt the LibLabCon solution is to import the required midwives from overseas, and of course they will all start having kids as well.

The British National Party would instead train young unemployed British women, (not as many as this article says is needed as most of these immigrants would not be here to bleed our NHS dry in the first place.) They would get full grants while they study as the British National Party would have never have invaded Iraq & Afghanistan and as a result not have blown up £20 billion pounds. Also since these wars 100,000s of Iraqis and Afghanis hav moved to the UK, and are now having kids. This would never have happened either.

they probably have to pay for their own healthcare in places like Spain and Australia and for most other things. This always seems to be conveniently forgotten. To go to Australia, you have to have a skill and points and money.

In the Uk we seem to provide a World Health Service, free translators etc.

i think it is a worry and I would not like to be having my children now if there are not enough midwives.

I live in Greater London and it does seem like another country in certain places. I don't support the BNP but I think immigration is a problem in the UK.

My son was born in my home country, where there is a midwife shortage (no it's not just a British problem). He had an ENGLISH midwife! There are a lot of English people moving away to other countries, they are welcomed with open arms. People from those countries come here and are made to feel like criminals.

Now I know that immigration is a vast and varied subject and as usual the few doing the wrong thing end up in the headlines and make it hard for the rest of us. The point is that these things go both ways. Brits don't just stay in Britain, anymore than other nationalities don't move between boarders.

It's hard enough making the life changing decision to pack up your entire life and move some where new, with out running into thoughtless people spouting off rubbish with out even investigating the facts from ALL sides of the story.

well I have only 6 living with me as one passed away.

My dp pays a lot of tax tbh and has worked for a long time -also my children will probably grow up and contribute to society and pay taxes unlike yours who will join the BNP on the way to the dole queue.
