Isn't it brilliant, a fabulous story that I can't remember being on the front page of any Newspaper.

That is uplifting. I think we could all learn a thing or to from that.

I don't think we can justify, with our modern minds, the fact that Muslims kill in the name of Allah because of the Crusades.

But I really want to keep to the fact that these Muslims showed kindness and putting this on the front page could give Muslims an easier ride in the UK today. Perhaps if we don't demonise all Muslims there might be less of them turning extreme, with violence or becoming invisible.

Perhaps some generous Muslims could swap their modesty for the greater good? (modesty in the hidden from boasting way) although I am sure we could translate that as boasting about the few charitable things that Muslims do.

I agree Margaret. And while it is hard to find websites which show Christians bomb Mosques, its very easy to find stories of Muslims and Mosques being attacked in this country, apparently/possibly in revenge attacks for the acts of a few extremists.

(It was a response to Riven talking about the generosity of some Muslims at her mosque!!..but it doesn't scan well)

I think compfan has a point. I am certainly not BNP but i think the british are too tolerant at times and it will backfire.
