Oldham By election BNP Candidate removed physically by police from a hustings debate so he could not take part. In the general election they came 4th in that seat. And we preach to other countries about democracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

UK POLICE STATE.

"Well, if I was the organiser"

But you weren't.

Given the situation, that is the organiser didn't want the BNP there, I ask once again what should have happened? Fair enough you might dislike the organiser but what actually should have gone differently? What should the police have done?

The police should be out arresting child sex groomers that jack Straw mentioned not acting like bouncers for the labour party.

KalokiMallow HE DID HAVE TICKETS FOR THE EVENT, HE DID NOT BARGE IN,IT SAID QUESTION THE CANDIDATES. AS A CANDIDATE HE STEPPED FORWARD TO BE QUESTIONED.

"The police should be out arresting child sex groomers that jack Straw mentioned not acting like bouncers for the labour party."

So what should they have done?

What should have happened at that hustings?

BadgersPaws · 10/01/2011 23:59

"HE DID HAVE TICKETS FOR THE EVEN"

He had a ticket to be in the audience.

The top table was by invitation only and it did not, despite his claims to the contrary, have all the other candidates.

compfan · 11/01/2011 00:03

It had two candidates UKIP & Greens that received less votes than the BNP less than a year ago in the general election in that seat. SO, why would they be banned from attending a public hustings?

OP posts:
KalokiMallow · 11/01/2011 00:03

So BadgersPaws, having a fun night? HmmGrin

KalokiMallow · 11/01/2011 00:05

But compfan, you've just said he wasn't banned? He had a TICKET. He just wasn't INVITED on to the TOP TABLE.

So, I ask again, if someone HASN'T been invited, should they then barge in? And if they refuse to more (like a sulky child) should they not be removed?

compfan · 11/01/2011 00:05

Also PC Tutu perhaps you could answer why this man can in full view of cameras can spit on and verbally abuse a bnp councillor and not be arrested??

"It had two candidates UKIP & Greens that received less votes than the BNP less than a year ago in the general election in that seat"

And?

It was up to the organisers to invite whoever they wanted to invite to be on that panel.

"SO, why would they be banned from attending a public hustings?"

They weren't "banned", they just weren't invited or wanted.

I'm still awaiting an answer for what should have happened at the hustings.

BadgersPaws · 11/01/2011 00:08

"So BadgersPaws, having a fun night?'

My grandparents fought proper Nazi's, this bunch are more like the Keystone Cops.

I'm also genuinely curious to see what the BNP think should have happened at the hustings...

compfan · 11/01/2011 00:08

Also PC Tutu, perhaps the police should be out arresting people putting in car windows and spaying graffiti on cars for displaying a political poster instead of acting as doormen at a public hustings.

OP posts:
KalokiMallow · 11/01/2011 00:08

Whoah back up there.. you expect them to think??

BadgersPaws · 11/01/2011 00:11

"Whoah back up there.. you expect them to think??"

Well, yes.

At the moment all we've heard is something along the lines of.

"What do we want?"
"An end to the death of democracy and the police state!"
"When do we want it?"
"At that hustings!"
"How do we want it?"
"Oh, erm, um, right, here's a YouTube video"

KalokiMallow · 11/01/2011 00:12

lol quite! Grin

Surprisingly short on answers aren't they?

BadgersPaws · 11/01/2011 00:13

"instead of acting as doormen at a public hustings."

Well doormen do legally expel those who aren't wanted somewhere, so do I take that as a tacit admission that the police were doing the right thing by removing Derek Adams?

BadgersPaws · 11/01/2011 00:19

"Surprisingly short on answers aren't they?"

That just about sums up the BNP :)

Still I live in hope...

There's a great opportunity to explain how that hustings should have worked, how the police could have avoided interfering with democracy and indeed how democracy itself could be spared an untimely death.

Do you think WW2 veterans wanted the mass 3rd world invasion into this counrty..HAHAHA you are clueless badger.

OP posts:
BadgersPaws · 11/01/2011 00:24

"HAHAHA you are clueless badger."

Well yes I am clueless about what should have gone differently at that hustings because you still won't answer.

compfan · 11/01/2011 00:26

BNP Mensa Member gives talk on the Fiat paper money scheme.

OP posts:
BadgersPaws · 11/01/2011 00:31

Well thanks for proving the point about how when asked for answers all you get are YouTube links.

But you still haven't said how the death of democracy at that hustings could have been avoided.

Snorbs · 11/01/2011 00:40

I've seen this before about the BNP. It's very keen on videos and youtube links.

I wonder if that's because its members tend to struggle a bit with the written word.

compfan, as you're such a fan of youtube, could we get your take on BNP member and her claims?

sali81 · 11/01/2011 00:50

Op I think you should give up already, I can see who has won this debate. Hear hear Badgerpaws and snorbs!! Grin

compfan · 11/01/2011 00:51

Clearly you and me will continue to disagree. You seem to treat democratic hustings like wine and cheese parties, you have to be on the guest list. I'm more into the Magna carta, true free specch and free and fair elections.

SO HOW EXACTLY CAN THIS PARTY ENGAGE IN THE DEMOCRATIC PROCESS??????????!!!!!!!!!!!
