Oldham By election BNP Candidate removed physically by police from a hustings debate so he could not take part. In the general election they came 4th in that seat. And we preach to other countries about democracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

UK POLICE STATE.

Hahah, oh god.. you couldn't buy entertainment like compfan

Snorbs · 13/01/2011 13:17

And once again you have managed to avoid the entirely reasonable and apposite questions that BadgersPaws has asked you. Good work! Keep it up!

ThatVikRinA22 · 13/01/2011 23:29

irony is totally lost on this one....

fascist hates others he percieves to be fascist. erm....

KalokiMallow · 13/01/2011 23:32

BadgersPaws Pretty please change your name to BadgerDictator! It brings up such wonderful images in my head!

ThatVikRinA22 · 13/01/2011 23:35

Grin yes badger dictator! do it!

Snorbs · 14/01/2011 08:07

In a delicious coup de grâce, the results of the Oldham East election are in and Derek "Petulant Child" Adams has lost not only over a third of the BNP votes since last time but also...

...his deposit.

I think this social commentator sums it up best.

BadgersPaws · 14/01/2011 10:27

Wonderful :)

The turnout dropped by 22%, the BNPs actual number of votes plummeted by nearly 40%.

And couple that with Compfan demonstrating the BNPs desperate unwillingness to answer questions by managing to go through the whole dismiss/distract/run away cycle twice on this thread alone and not managing to answer any of the questions posed on the first page or even justify the original topic.

compfan · 14/01/2011 10:52

Its no great surprise, UKIP apparently spent a fortune on this election and billboards all over the place. Look at any past election and it proves that money is the biggest factor in the result.

For example in a general election the Liblabcon parties have budgets of many millions and are given endless hours of coverage. (They also get to attend hustings and address voters) Now I would LOVE to see what the result would be if the situation was 100% reversed. The BNP has a budget of 20 million pound and hours of impartial tv coverage.

They go up against the Labour party who only have £400,000 to spend, & get a few token 5 minute slots and are treat like lepers. I am results would be very different.

If UKIP 'spent a fortune' they must be disappointed only to poll 300 extra votes. Truth is compfan that the BNP's nasty politics are just way out of line with voters. The public don't want them.

BadgersPaws · 14/01/2011 11:05

"Its no great surprise, UKIP apparently spent a fortune on this election and billboards all over the place. Look at any past election and it proves that money is the biggest factor in the result."

Well that was a bit of a waste of cash, they only picked up 309 extra votes.

UKIP beat the BNP into fourth place not because they got a lot more votes but because the BNPs vote collapsed.

However I actually do share some of your concerns about funding in elections and have concerns about the ability of smaller parties to fairly compete.

"The BNP has a budget of 20 million pound and hours of impartial tv coverage."

You've got impartial coverage and the ability to say what you like without being cut off or censored here.

So those questions still stand, if you care to answer any of them.

compfan · 14/01/2011 12:37

I have better things to do with my time than sit answering your ridiculous interrogation. Clearly we differ, I beleive in giving people the right speak regardless of their opinions, you seem to think a good hustings is one where the voters are denied the opportunity to hear from each candidate.

Pot? Kettle? Black?

BadgersPaws · 14/01/2011 13:00

"I beleive in giving people the right speak regardless of their opinions"

The BNP have that right, but they don't have the right to interrupt functions held on private property.

You've got the right to speak, but you're choosing to not answer one single question or back up even your original thread title yet alone anything you've said since.

"you seem to think a good hustings is one where the voters are denied the opportunity to hear from each candidate."

No, I think a good hustings is one where the organisers follow the rules and can choose who they want to attend within those rules.

On the other hand it's very hard to gauge exactly what you think and believe.

You won't explain how the police were interfering with democracy.

You won't explain what, if any, rules the organisers broke.

You won't explain what rules or laws the BNP want changed so that their candidate would have been at that hustings.

And with my questions being labelled a "ridiculous interrogation" and you think that I want to deny voters the opportunity to hear from candidates we seem to be entering yet another cycle of the BNP Debate Avoidance process as you try to dismiss the questions. Will we see some unconnected YouTube videos posted up next?

And with the collapse of the BNPs vote maybe the people of Oldham who did vote for them are beginning to see past the ridiculous claims and statements and are realising that there's nothing behind them, and in Oldham's case that their candidate was acting like a spoilt child rather than a brave defender of democracy.

KalokiMallow · 14/01/2011 21:17

One question is an interrogation? Bloody hell..

compfan · 14/01/2011 21:53

I bet you could go into any pub in Oldham and easily find someone who can't stand islam and immigration and the way oldham has changed. You then could ask them who they voted for on Thursday and they would answer 'Labour'. I know scores of people just like that.

Unfortunately a big section of the British people are more concerned with the X Factor and Eastenders than they are about the future of the country.

They treat voting like some sort of quaint family tradition. Me grandad voted labour, so did me dad, so I do as well.

Voting in this country is like banks and supermarkets. people stick to the same one for years even if they dont like them through sheer force of habit.

Also half of them are so fed up with the thieving slimeballs they say to hell with the lot, and vote for no one.

SO just because smaller parties struggle don't assume their policies are not popular.

A lot of the British people are nothing more than sheep, and deserve everything they will get in the future. A perfect example is all these people whinging about cuts and losing their jobs, perhaps they should of thought about that when they were voting for Labour 2 years after wasting billions on death and destruction in Iraq. Now they are going to pay the bill.

Compfan - "A lot of the British people are nothing more than sheep, and deserve everything they will get in the future."

No - a lot of the British people know that the BNP are Nazis and therefore want nothing to do with them!

Snorbs · 14/01/2011 22:10

"I bet you could go into any pub in Oldham and easily find someone who can't stand islam and immigration and the way oldham has changed. You then could ask them who they voted for on Thursday and they would answer 'Labour'. I know scores of people just like that."

Doesn't that tell you something important? Not even the nasty drunk racists are voting BNP. Talk about backing a losing horse.

compfan · 14/01/2011 23:04

Q. What is a racist?

A. Someone who is winning an argument with a liberal.

WW2 RAF Squadron leader and BNP member Doug Tidy.

Nazis... I dont think.

Fascist labour who in ten years killed tens of thousands of innocent civillians for oil and globalism and handed 80% of our soverignity to their friends in Brussels now that is NAZI, or perhaps MARXIST would be a better description either way they are totalistarian internationalists in nature and liblabcon supporters are not on the moral high ground, they support & vote for warmongers.

Hi Compfan. Thanks for yet another Youtube link.

I note you still have yet to answer a very simple question.

If a person is uninvited to your meeting and refuses to leave, what would you do?

And a supplemental question from me, just out of curiousity.

In your personal view (not the BNP's), should non-indigenous people of the UK be allowed to stay in the country?

dobiegirl · 14/01/2011 23:34

I wonder what your problem is Snorbs? You sound like a very bitter person, constantly attacking anyone who doesn't agree with you, trying to belittle them, imagining yourself to be extremely clever, etc etc.

Compfan, I have no idea about the BNP or anything that you lot have been going on about - but I can tell you you're wasting your breath with this lot, I wouldn't bother if I was you, unless you like this kind of thing of course!!

Apologise for any spelling mistakes Snorbs, having been boozing, is that allowed??

Snorbs · 14/01/2011 23:41

I have this nasty medical condition that means I'm allergic to racists. It makes me come out in a rash of sarcasm.

Luckily it doesn't affect me in day-to-day life as I find that few people are dim enough and small-minded enough to be racist. Present company excepted, of course.

dobiegirl · 14/01/2011 23:48

What makes you think I'm a racist?

freshmint · 14/01/2011 23:48

respect

(no, I wasn't talking to you complan. he he he)

dobiegirl · 14/01/2011 23:58

Snorbs you've never met any real racists!! Not in this country anyway (try living in Jordan) most folks here are really tolerant!! I don't get your viewpoint!

I just think you come across as a nasty and spiteful spirit!!

Snorbs · 15/01/2011 00:03

What makes me think you're a racist? The racist stuff you came out with on the "Cowboy & Indians" thread. Then there was the racist stuff you came out with on the "Scared of being called a racist" thread.

It's a bit of a give-away really.
