i can't stop watching either.. i'm going to pay for it in the morning but at least i will have a warm fuzzy feeling inside me to keep me going...

I'll stay up and keep posting updates. Easy for me, its only 18:12 here :)

I have nothing and noone to be awake for sadly so will no doubt be watching for hours more.

Night everyone, but I have to go to bed nowm up early with DD and also have college until 8pm so will regret staying awake. But it was worth it

Might be an obvious question but why did they need 6 rescuers?

Because 5 wasn't enough & 7 was too many?

BB - a few of them were paramedics. They needed to assess (as well as is possible 700m below ground) the state of the miners to ensure the order to take them out was correct and changed planned order if necessary.

at least the pauses in his are genuine pauses - not like TB who used to do those silly long pauses

Exactly, imagine the team that would be prepping every word any politician in our country spoke in such a situation. It makes me angry actually.
