Am I the only one who thinks it'd be almost nice to be the last one down there? I know how stupid that sounds! But you'd have such a sense of achievement - everyone is up safely & you've got 20 minutes of an incomparable solitude to reflect on it all.

I don't think they are forgetting the rescuers but it is a very special moment with the last miner coming up after such a long time.

of course these rescuers count! they are true heroes and, as such, they will have God's protection.
