I've been v. busy today.
Even managed to fit in a snooze.
I've done so much washing, and it's all dry!

JKS, I couldn't survive without Range. And I decided I really didn't care what they thought of me.
Though, v. excited, there's a large Mothercare/Early Learning Centre opened just down from Range, so I have alternate shopping within short walk/no main road.

Climbing frame sounds great! I've got loads of crap in my garden now too.

Tomorrow -

• sort and put away all the clean washing
• do 2 loads of washing
• have a fun day

Morning, we are all heading off round 12 so need to get uniforms washed before we go. Need to make some sort of a brunch as well and try and keep this place tidy

Bloody hell, I hope dh doesn't see this thread... last thing I need is an argument that justifies his pathological untidiness/hoarding.

I am seriously thinking of getting him some therapy, only he's out of work atm so we are skint. If I wasn't around, he'd turn into one of those people like Mr Trebus, who have to tunnel through the clutter in their houses.

An example, I fight a running battle with him about blocking the back door with assorted crap. I clear it myself regularly - although there is nowhere to put the sodding crap he dumps there. Last time it was a printer on a stand. Or I nag him into clearing it, using the argument about what if there was a fire. Five minutes later, it's blocked again.)

edam - not surprised that drives you insane, it sounds so frustrating.

My DH is great at buying stuff but the minute it's in the house it seems to magically become my responsibility - even down to putting the wrapping in the bin. I feel my job title should be 'Manager of Stuff'.

Didn't get to the gym as I thought I'd be kind to DH and let him enjoy some peace sitting outside with the papers. Now he's on a bike ride. Am hoping to muster up the energy to go for a swim when he takes the kids out later.

get pile of old chairs looked at & maybe repaired (otherwise throw out)
sort paint pots (only keep needed ones with anything useful left in)
list of colours used in house (mostly off white anyway)
fill shelves in an orderly way, lol

Hello slatterns

DH has been busy this weekend, and has done loads of washing, gardening etc. I have done a lot of sitting on my arse

CWWM Suddenly realised DD has no summer clothes either, so we popped into Peacocks earlier and have got her a good amount of summery day clothes, all 100% cotton which she needs. Spent about £30 but that is summer sorted!
