I thought of you today in the library, they have a knitting club (called stitch & bitch), you do knit don't you?, anyway and I had just read the Friday night knitting club, and just thought of us all meeting up swapping cleaning tips
(then I thought it might be Wasting who knits)

Plum I don't leave everything, just the toy tidying. At the moment DS' toys don't take too much putting away, apart from his Lego it all just gets shoved in one big toy chest that I have in the dining room - I think this will change as he gets older though!

Evening! What a lovely day it's been.

DS didn't sleep in the buggy, and then wanted to boob to sleep at 5.
In the past I'd have let him, and only just be sitting down now, but I managed to get him through tea and bath.

I've started making sure toys are picked up just before we go up for bath, so it's all tidy when I come back down, but he doesn't have much time to mess it up.

I knit. This is our virtual Stitch and Bitch of sorts I guess. You certainly got the blow by blow description of my crafting last night.

Morning

We managed to get the house looking passable last night before friends came over. Was a nice evening. Friends new BF is quite young (legal, but young ) so was quite quiet, but friend and i chatted non-stop anyway, mostly about town gossip and horses which interests all of us, so i hope we weren't too dull. (my biggest worry is that people will think i am dull/obviously a looper)

Had a lie in this morning as we have the farrier coming at 12pm so didn't want to get to the yard too early and DD get bored before the farrier got there, or make 3 trips up today so was planning on going up about 10ish, but woman at yard phoned and asked if she could turn mine out - perfect!

DD rode my horse yesterday She didn't want to get off, was also wandering round with DH's stethoscope (sp?) round her neck and trying to listen to things with it. So cute!

All my enthusiasm has up and left me so not got as much done as i'd like.

Cikecaka i had a replan for food ideas a couple of weeks ago, and we are finding we can make make 2 meals out of one lot of ingredients (shepherds pie/bolognese or roast chicken/chicken pie/curry) and i think it has helped our food budget a fair bit.

I bloody well did it! The washing got tackled yesterday whilst sat on sofa watching Lost.

Today has been such a great day.
