Everyone is welcome,
we are a friendly bunch,
we post our lists big or small,
tick jobs off as we go along.

We give each other a kick up the bum when needed or shoulder to cry moan on,
and a pat on the back.

That is an excellent idea. Would soak up all the wee spillages nicely!

Um not sure yet (help!), we are going on Sat 19th June and will be in the plebs area silver ring bit so there isn't a formal dress code but I quite fancy getting dressed up anyway!

I think lots of people do, just means you can wear what you want rather than sticking to quite strict rules. We go racing quite a bit and i can never understand people going in Jeans and football shirts. Just feels wrong you know (tbh, i would always feel wrong in a football shirt!)

I have this but blue that I have never worn and have been waiting for an occasion and also have other pretty but less formal dresses...will see what the others are wearing I suppose.

Oh dear, I feel crap. I hate having a proper cold. I miss being able to lie on the sofa watching Quincy while Mum brought me Lemsip.
Being ill's crap when you're a real grown-up.

DS had his feed before bath tonight and though he asked for booby when I put him into his gro-bag, I told he'd already had it and he was perfectly fine and went down really happy.

Politics TBH I hate it, although always feel guilty if I don't vote, In the last area I lived in my voote was a wasted vote, not sure about this area,
dh has never voted except when I made him vote for the Good Friday agreement, I'm not even sure I can vote, our cards came through but don't remember registering, does that mean I am registered?? told hate the subject

HMHB what type of holiday are you arranging? I have my eye on one we just aren't in the position to book it yet AND I'm abit afraid now with all this ash floating about

Plum - I need to book summer holiday cottage probably in Pembrokeshire. Have been sooooo busy not managed it yet. We were going to go on a posh hol to crete or something but finances have been challenged of late and like you say the ash cloud does put one off.

A friend who runs a local play group pointed out today, that if the Conservatives get in all funding for 3yo's will go and lots of playgroups will suffer .

HMHB that isn't true - they are sorting out the regulations around top up fees, which all the nurseries/pre-school here charge already.
The sad fact is that whoever gets in, there are going to be cuts of all sorts of things. I know Alistair Darling went on record saying that Labour would have to make cuts 'worse than Thatcher' if they were re-elected. Can only imagine it will be very similar whoever forms a government
