Morning lovely ladies

Freak i am constantly struggling with the laundry. Even if i get it all clean, getting it put away is a struggle. TBH, i have run out of room in the chest of drawers, so going to get some underbed storage boxes to put all my clothes that don't fit/big winter sweaters etc. That is the plan anyhow.....

JKS glad you are feeling better

Plum that is nothing! This week we have eaten a fair bit of junk and watched almost constant telly (just one of those weeks i'm afraid) but i still think i am doing an ok job. DD is being fed, she is having exercise and she is happy (i treat my DD and my horses the same, a very good way to do it really!)

I do think that if you are careful about what you generally feed/do with your children then they are fine, especially when you see how some kids are dragged up and they survive!

Erm........list!

Plum, my 2 girls have been going to Westlife concerts since they were 5/6. We are heading again in June! I hope she enjoyed it. Dont worry about taking to your son to see the film, I sometimes think we can shield them too much and they cant cope with the outside world at all! DD2 was on a sleepover a few weeks ago and watched a horror film, I was a bit shocked when I heard but she enjoyed it whereas if she was with me (because I never ever watch them, leave the room if the tension rises in the soaps) she would never have watched it.

Need to do a list

Alicetheinvisible · 03/05/2010 09:08

I used to watch Predator, Terminator etc with my dad when i was little. Can't stand horror films now, but didn't bother me when small. You know how your child will react anyway

Thank you all
dd1 loved the concert she was going with dhs cousin who is in a wheelchair, MIL ended up accompanying them, cousin is 21 and I feel she should have been allowed that bit of responsibility but MIL was worried

ds loved the film and has had his Ironman medallion on that he got free with his burgerking(strike 3 against me) since last night,
he is sensible and knows its just a movie and wouldn't hurt a fly, (I loved it too something about Robert downey Jr)

Anyway I shouldn't even be on here as I have loads to do
have wasted an hour writing down phone numbers from dhs phone (saved as text messages) to transfer over, He shouldn't have asked me to do it as now I have seen how many times he rings 118 [grrr] sometimes for a number that was already there [ggrrrr]

Right
Ironing
hoover
actually everything

Oh and saw pics taken at sponsored walk, didn't recognise myself I have put on too much weight so glad I enjoyed my angry whopper last night as that is it, I HAVE TO BE GOOD,
so going to start walking again

Another sloooow start here

Plum if it makes you feel better ds helped himself to crisps for breakfast yesterday, then they were at a party and ate mainly sweets and crisps, then my parents came over in the afternoon and brought them sweets and jaffa cakes...It was not a healthy day!

Have had a friend and her dc over for a cuppa this morning so not done much else. Am feeling quite sleepy now!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/05/2010 13:27

Alice good news about your dd's excema

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 03/05/2010 14:30

Hello everyone We've had a lovely weekend, day out with SIL and her family on Saturday and then went straight to my parents and got home about an hour ago. We took DS on a miniature train which he loved, and then had a picnic in the downpour.
Just to join in the rubbish parenting, he ate a whole double chocolate cookie - one of the huge american-style ones you get from the supermarket. It was almost as big as his head

JKS - glad you're feeling better Boo at your DH working, he does long hours doesn't he?

Think will wait for dc to go to bed before doing floors.

Alice I thought the ascot tickets might catch your interest

Alicetheinvisible · 04/05/2010 16:43

what are you wearing???? very important!

I always think i should do the floors once DD has gone to bed, but never do them, i am thinking of getting sawdust put down instead like some grotty old bar
