We've not done bad today, but the house is a bit of a tip, and I've been sat here on laptop for over an hour.

• laundry - fold dry washing done, put 2nd load in done

• wrap GM pressie done

• Birthday presents to buy/make - step-MIL - wrist-warmers
• dig blackout blind out and adjust to window
• work out what?s wrong with breadmaker

It hasn't been all bad, have spent the eve chatting to an old and v v v good friend on fb. Had lost touch with him a bit because H was jealous but we've been chatting like we saw each other last week

Evening everyone

Have been a bit lame today, but I wanted to share 2 things.

1. I have IRONED! With my new steam generator, I love it! I did 2 shirts, 3 tops and a dress in about 25 mins.
2. I spent £36 on knickers! Eight pairs, but still - when did they get so expensive!

We are off out and about for the weekend so I'll be back Monday, hope you all have good weekends.

Freaky - you are not a moaner at all, well maybe a little but it's all entirely justified and therefore not in the slightest bit annoying.

Morning everyone, ended up having to go to the dentist about my sore jaw, was on antibiotic and strong painkillers so wasnt fit for anything. Thankfully DD3 was asleep at 5.50 yesterday evening as I wasnt fit for anything.
I feel so stupid as one of the radio presenters over here died suddenly and I am so upset, have listened to him for over 20 yrs every morning

Have to go to DHs neice First Communion today, its at 2pm.

Had a much better nights sleep last night, only up twice so feel a bit better today. Didn't bother straightening my hair as it is meant to piss down with rain/thunderstorms this afternoon - great!

Really tempted not to go racing. I have a busy morning ahead to enable us to go, i still haven't cleared my car out, we won't be able to have a nice picnic because of the weather and bleugh really! Plus there will be lots of standing up which tires me out [pathetic] Oh, and my gorgeous friend is going to be there, looking gorgeous and thin

I have to:
Get dressed
Get DD creamed and dressed
Make beds
Go to the horses
Get to the post office to get car tax that ran out yesterday
Go to waitrose
Have a bath/wash hair
Tidy up
Make lunch for everyone
Get ready
Leave about 1pm

Thanks ali. To begin with it was ah relief but now I think everything is starting to hit me a bit. I'm doing ok mostly but I have bad days (like yesterday) and it annoys me a bit that none of my friends who said they would be there for me actually are when it comes down to it-there is always a reason why they can't get together and none of them seem to realise I spend every night alone and how hard that can be. I must admit I do put on a facade so it all comes out on here instead But if I moaned like I do on here IRL I really wouldn't have any friends!

Anyway, better day! Oh and I am taking alices advice and have started a thread to help me step out of comfort zone

CC things like that always upset me too, even though you don't actually know them they have been a part of your life so you are bound to feel a loss.

Wasting - yes they have, i only took 2 yesterday (instead of 3) and was fine nearly all of the time.
Will stick to 2 or 3 for a couple more days probably then try and cut down and see how i am. It's a week since i started feeling odd so the virus should be on its way out about now.

dd1 is going to Westlife concert tonight(some would probably think she is too young)

and we are bringing ds to see Ironman 2 (which I know I would get totally flamed for as it is a 12A and far too much violence in it)
