Ahh Ali would be alright if you were stuck with him!

Ali Its soo true, and its not possible to have a happy marriage on here and trust your dh implicitly or your nuts,

Some people say they can be more forthright on mn, but I find I'm the opposite I'm biting my tongue most of the time, except on this thread, I love you all

OP posts:
FreakoidOrganisoid · 15/04/2010 20:32

God did you hear that alibaba and her dh agreed to marry within 5 days He must be an abuser/have npd/mental issues. And she planned to have dc with someone she barely knew

FreakoidOrganisoid · 15/04/2010 20:41

about your dh not being able to get back ali, poor you (and him)

And yep yep to it being better that he hasn't made a move, last thing I need is to get involved with another bastard! Plus this way I can decide if I really like him or if the fantasy was better than the reality.

Went to friend's this pm so all I have achieved is meals and clothing/nappy changes. Can I please have a slattern gold star for that?

JustKeepSwimming · 15/04/2010 21:37

We got together in the January, DH moved in with me and my mother,I had a slight hang up about sex and was quite nervous (DH was my first), so took him 6 months to win me round, I must have lost my hang up because I was pregnant by the sept, good job I didnt let him near me sooner

Alicetheinvisible · 16/04/2010 08:13

Cikecaka!!

DH and i met in an x-ray room at the horse sales in the october (i was already seeing someone, but dropped them like a shot ) and i had moved in, moved job and horse by the beginning of December. Was pregnant (oops!) a year and half later, but all was fine. The only thing that upset me was that i had my heart set on being married before having kids. DH and i got married when DD was 11months old and we got her christened at the same time at the church i was christened in, and my grandparents were married in. Was lovely

What else is lovely is that DD is still asleep She was nearly in bed by 7.45, but then decided she wanted to get in the bath with me (thanks!) so didn't get her to bed until 8.30pm and she was still awake at 9.

My sister (Mumof2rugrats) is coming over today with her DD's, my stepmum and my stepmum's new stepDD (if that makes sense?) SDD is a teenager though.

TO DO
Empty dishy
Reload dishy
Get something for dinner out of the freezer
Put washload on
Get dressed
Get DD up!
Get DD creamed and dressed
Turn horses out
Go to waitrose (need a list)
Put clean throws on sofas
Make banana loaf
Hang washing out
Start preparing lunch - Roasted veg couscous, spanish omlette/frittata, french stick, sausage rolls. Does that sound good?

Sounds like DD is awake......

Oh, and i had the strangest dream last night. DH and i spent yesterday evening sorting through baby clothes, all DD's old stuff and my friend gave me a bag full of boys stuff. I dreamt that i had Triplets, but that they were all girls. So i said to DH, "are you sure? Then why did we spend the evening sorting out boys clothes?" Cracking up

JustKeepSwimming · 16/04/2010 09:26

Triplets - too scary!!

I am LOVING all these romantic stories of how you all met your dh's

Mine was one of those stories where everyone goes "wow that's so romantic" but the ending has kind of soured it. Think that made it even harder to face up to it ending tbh, everyone has been totally shocked because they thought it was perfect, little did they know what he was doing behind closed doors.

Alice can I come for lunch please? Yum

oh I love hearing everyones get together stories

dh & I were 16 and he had already dated a few of my friends,
I hadn't met him but had heard all about him, then we went to a party at his house and he was with someone else and I thought he was just gorgeous, so I'm afraid I was smitten,
it then took us 2 months to get together,
as typical teenagers, my friends didn't let on I fancied him because 2 of them wanted back out with him, and he didn't say anything because his bestfriend was going to dump his girlfriend(my friend) to ask me out

Anyway everyone knew we were going to end up going out together as it was so obvious, so at yet another party we took a walk down by the beach and ended up kissing on the beach, all very romantic,
(some of my friends took the hump abit but later agreed we were mean't to be) anyway 5 years later he took me back to the spot on the beach and asked me to marry him officially with the ring,
then we bought a house, and got married the year after I graduated and dd1 was born 11 months later
so together 17 years this July and married 10 years back in March

And I was a good little girl like CC and waited 6 months (until I turned 17) the rest of you are just slappers

I was not a good girl at all for a while at uni and after, but I was 17 before I began my career!
When DH and I met I was 28 and he was 34 and we were both just totally ready to settle down.
He is STILL stuck, although his work have got him in a 5* hotel where they are doing his laundry for him etc so at least he isn't sitting around in the airport or anything. I'm back at my Mum's - staying with MIL was nice but three days was enough. When I'm here I can just disappear to read a book or MN in peace and quiet and Mum and Dad don't mind at all!

These are all lovely stories. It's a pity that often when you try and share them on here in a 'look all men aren't wankers' kind of way that you get shouted down or called smug.

Alicetheinvisible · 16/04/2010 17:40

Hello.

Ali i agree, but i wonder if the people who spend most time on here are here because their relationship has its problems iyswim? Just a theory...

Anyway, i used to be a baaaaaad girl but got it all out of my system, and very happy in my middle aged life

So, my sis and her kids and my exstepmum came for the day and it was lovely but bloody hard work! DD is so easy compared to having 3 kids in the house all overexciting each other and winding each other up!

Lunch went down very well. All of you are welcome at any time Freak i have no idea what part of the country you are! I think JKS is the closest to me?

PlumBumMum · 16/04/2010 17:46

Slapper slatterns the lot of you, although I did have quite a few boyfriends between the ages of 11 to 16 scares the crap out of me that dd1 could be actually snogging someone in 2 years time SHES MY BABY!!!!!!!!!!

Evening all!

Had a fun day in town with DH and DS. Went for lunch and visited the Museum and Art Gallery, and collected my new curtains.
Will be putting them up tomorrow, v. excited.

I have no other plans so far.

I was v. good til 18, and then got together with DH at 20. We've been together for 11 years and married for nearly 4 years.

wastingaway · 16/04/2010 22:48

I have to announce that I have just put the final stitches to a very difficult cross-stitch picture that I began in 1993.
I shed a little tear. It's an enormous weight lifted off of me. I've got to wash it carefully and get it framed for a Christmas present yet, but the stitching is done!

That is just how slatternly I am.
