suppose I ought to get my list done - actually I've done a few bits already so will put those on with a done straight away

Whats the difference between thsi thread and the daily fly thread??Just wondering!!

this is more of a thread for those that don't fly - ie we don't have set routines, and do everything in a nice orderly manner.

We make lists - we try (or not lol) to get them done, if we don't no biggie, every day is a procrastination day for some of us, basically some of us have tried "FLYing" and it didn't work for us.

So this kind of keeps us motivated in a different way.

Coffee and MN breaks are welcomed as often as you like.

I suppose we're kind of the opposite of the FLYers (but with the aim to end up with a semi-acceptable looking house.............eventually)

Friend coming for lunch, and MW coming at 8.30am tomorrow morning, so have got about an hour and a half to make my house look vaguely presentable.

First i need to get rid of the pins and needles in my foot

Mop the living room floor (its a bit sticky )
Give DD's table and chairs a good scrub

I finished the anniversary cake late last night, so had planned to do wonders today and got off to a good start but then got stuck on here loading photos

Well made it to Ikea and back in time, phew. And although i did get things not on my list (surprise!) they were all things on a general list IYKWIM so needed getting at some point.

Thurs:

• ds1 to pre-sch DONE
• me to Ikea (leaving ds2 with Nanny) DONE
• straight home, NOT being distracted by the rest of Lakeside!! DONE
• collect ds1 DONE
• lunch & tidy up DONE
• ds2 nap Doing
• sort all new purchases from Ikea Doing
• DH & DS1 out to barbers
• other jobs for me?

I have achieved precisely zilch today other than spend a very long time ranting while drinking coffee with a friend - another school incident yesterday with DS1 hurt by same boy who tried to strangle him, this time having taken scissors to him. Arraggahhh.

Anyway, that rant then followed by mad dash round market and tearing home to change DS2's nappy before going to meeting with head teacher. Phew.

Have now got half an hour before have to wake DS2 up and get to school. Hope that nothing else has happened.......

So, frankly, the house can continue to look a bit on the messy side as I feel like a damp rag!

Must think zen thoughts, must think zen thoughts.....
