JKS - know what you mean about having too many kids to visit. When that happens here I end up walking about 50 miles round and round the lounge picking stuff up, getting drinks, stopping arguments etc. etc.

Plum, We are heading to Trabolgan in Cork (our 4th time there). DDs will have to miss a few days from their last week at school, but to go at our normal time would have cost us 600 euro more. We will be away for DD2s birthday, so that is another cost saving measure

Was too much this afternoon really but I felt i stayed calm and didn't worry about the mess. Just didn't expect all who said yes to say yes IYKWIM. We are a small-ish group of mums so you can't really leave anyone out, but more of us have second DC now so things can get a bit crowded!

Oh and I missed the chance to return lots of borrowed stuff, grr.

ok - 2 days after starting the thread I'm going to do a list

Up far too early for my liking this morning - suspect H may have crashed rolled home around 6ish and that what woke DS3 up (probably) - didn't have to get up until 7 as he was happy snuggled next to me but he was still wrigggly. urghh 7am is SO not a time that exists for me on ANY morning

haven't done much since last posted dh has got me printing stuff off the computer and it seems to suck up time

Well yesterday I rang H back and told him he had to say one way or the other because it was dd that was asking not me and it's not fair to keep a 3 year old hanging like that, also told him the less he had to do with the dc now the less they would want/expect to have to do with hm in the future. He got the hump to begin with but then rang back and said ok he would take dd last night while she was still excited about it (I could have understood his hesitation if I'd called him to say can dd stay at yours tonight cos he might have had plans but I'd just said dd has been asking to stay at yours can we make a plan for her to do that sometime). Then he came to pick her up (late as usual) and ds was asking "daddy can I come pleeeeeeeeeease" so he said he would take ds as well

So I watched a film ate chocolate and drank wine then went to bed and slept all night (apart from waking for a wee at 4.30 [grr]) and stayed in bed til 9.30am - my first proper lie in in over 4 years!. And today's list so far has been:
