Is he Philip or Philip II?

NotanOtter · 05/12/2008 23:36

the clone - he is still my one and only...

considered swapping him for adrian but thought the better of it!

NCRedBreastedBirdy · 05/12/2008 23:40

No, Philip is much better! Were JL ok then> you obv. got the clone very fast..

(you know he will now be The Clone rather then Philip don't you? )

NotanOtter · 05/12/2008 23:53

yes sent one that day!

NCRedBreastedBirdy · 06/12/2008 00:15

That is a major point in their favour

Let us know how The Clone Philip goes one!

PaulaYates · 06/12/2008 00:23

ncredbreast that is he reason we went with john lewis sooo trustworthy and great customer service

ToughDaddy · 06/12/2008 05:20

I am going for the programmable 560 because I want to control her; I want her cleaning when I am away, quiet when I am at home and to be recharge and ready to go when I come back home. I still need to find a name for her.

TheInvisibleManDidItWithSanta · 06/12/2008 06:12

Oh I love that video- it's like a fairground ride for cats!! Think I could use that to convince dh we need one??

ggirlsbells · 06/12/2008 11:20

should I get it form JL or lakeland

JL £175 and one yrs free gaurantee

Lakeland £195 with lakeland gaurantee which is forever apparently?

Flower3545 · 06/12/2008 12:44

Is there a significant difference, apart from price between the 530 and 560 models?

ggirlsbells · 06/12/2008 13:07

apparently the 560 is programmable ,only diff

ggirlsbells · 06/12/2008 13:07

DLT · 06/12/2008 20:58

interesting

new phillip only has 3 legs?????

NCRedBreastedBirdy · 06/12/2008 21:04

DLT? Did I miss something?

EachPeachPearMum · 06/12/2008 21:04

toughdaddy from your requirements, it sounds like you should call yours 'her indoors' or '50s wifey'!

NotanOtter · 06/12/2008 21:11

no sorry that was a hang over from last night

NCRedBreastedBirdy · 06/12/2008 21:21

Ahh, I thought it was you of course but wondered if somthing had happened! 3 legs sounds odd! Has he charged yet? I wonder how stable he will be on rug edges and stairs though?

ToughDaddy · 06/12/2008 21:28

EachPeach- that would confuse things? Herindoors I and HerIndoors II would cause confusion

ToughDaddy · 06/12/2008 21:37

they might argue like the kids do

2sugarsandapuppy · 06/12/2008 21:38

H would have something to say about this. I've had mine since May, and it's been back and forth to the manufacturer like a fiddler's elbow. When it works, I love it. But 'Please remove and clean Roomba's brushes' is a song I've heard too often.

NotanOtter · 06/12/2008 21:40

yes.......beinning to wonder myself s mine dies at 8 weeks

no it only had 3 legs on its spinner

EachPeachPearMum · 06/12/2008 22:19

do you have to clean those brushes really ffrequently?
Think I'll just stick to my vacuum cleaner!

NotanOtter · 07/12/2008 00:08

it takes a minute

ToughDaddy · 08/12/2008 20:29
