2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 dc. All hard floors downstairs, carpets upstairs.

Love, love, love my Roomba. It's cleaned all the downstairs on one charge, it's brilliant.
I can't believe the amount of dirt it picks up, where does it all come from?
It's much better than I expected it to be, because it brushes the pile up on the carpet as it goes, so they look clean and freshened up, IYKWIM.

I bought mine at the weekend online here. I paid 209 for a Roomba 560. It arrives tommrw and everyone here is excited. We scared our MIL by telling her that we are buying a "robot to do the cleaning". She is having imagines of a tin going round the house doing dusting

yes cheese. we are thinking about all the things that we can automate at chez nous . If it works well we may buy one for upstairs as well. And then a robo-mop for the kictchen. Anything else available?
