Morning Ladies

Hope you don't mind me starting the thread today.

Tuesday Mission

Aptly this is the mission I have decided to do today anyway ;)

in my case that would be the cupboard/graveyard under the stairs where things go to die... i dont think ive consumed enough sugar to be sufficiently "buzzing" enough to do it. Do it and there may be danger of me blitzing the whole house which in turn would result in a very happy DH, i dont think i can do it

BabiesEverywhere · 03/06/2008 09:06

"Where things go to die" Very appealing place to clean then

I am going to sort out behind the curtain which is hiding our coat hooks etc. I am not moving the coats there is no where else for them to go.

I also need to tattle our understairs cupboard but I am scared of spiders So I am going to bribe one of the faster cats to sit with me and pounce if needed.

Lastly I am so proud of myself, I got my new working iron yesterday and did so much ironing that I have nothing left to iron !!! Well, I'm sure there might be a few things in the cupboard that need an iron but I will do them as they are used and washed

Morning all,and thanks for the thread BabiesEverywhere

I've skimmed over yesterdays thread, and noticed Luda hasa bum that gets commented on (in a nice way) and Grouchy had a hard day yesterday....hope today is better

My useful advice for today is make sure your dcs bedrooms are tiday at all times..... I discovered last night what happens when a child is sick onto the flor from the top bunk!.
I've just finished the third load of washing, inclding rewashingall the clean clothes I'd left on the bottom bunk to put away.
I threw away a bag full of toys and books I couldn't even consider trying to rescue, and spent over an hourcleaning the ladder, floor, toy box (thankfully the lid was closed), radiator, wall, and bottom bunk.

I will bemostly tending dd1 and cleaning today I think.

She is still asleep.

BiancaCastafiore · 03/06/2008 09:11

Morning

Missed yesterdays thread, will try to have a skim through later.

Tort hope you're OK this morning
Babies thanks for the thread.
lol mummymusings

I have ds off school poorly today He's got the most awful nighttime cough so he and I have been awake for hours for the last two nights. I have the start of a sore throat too so am sure I've been coughed on enough to have caught all the germs.

We need to pop into the shops today as I managed to leave my debit card in a shoe shop at the weekend, they'll only keep the card till the end of teh day today so a trip is unavoidable.

If (and it's a big IF)I find the energy I'll do some bits around the house later.

BiancaCastafiore · 03/06/2008 09:13

Eugh Jas, I don't envy you with the sick cleaning! Hope dd feels better soon x

Hi Grouchy
Sorry to hear you're feeling rough. Weather doesn't help tho, it's chucking it down here and I've got the lights on. June? More like bloody March imo!
Feel free to have a rant on here if it helps. No-one can be positive all the time but you seem to manage it 99% which always amazes me

deanychip · 03/06/2008 10:49

ahhhhh
i havestarted in one corner of the kitchen and ended up with a million other areas to do.

EVERY where is a tip....damned builders!

dd has woken up happy as anything and asked for lunch! so i made her some toast. she's now playing with my hoover pipe as a walking stick all rudey nudey as she doesnt want to get dressed.
i've got a rotten headache so think i might leave the cupboard clearing til later and have a lazy morning. it doesnt look too bad in here (just dont open cupboard doors or an avalanche will squash you! )

mummymusings · 03/06/2008 11:22

ooooooooo hobknobs are my absolute most fave in the whole wide world, but only when covered in chocolate and dipped into hot hot tea to total soggyness then munch munch that would be at least half a pack per cuppa.

Im desperately trying to get my house in order and need the help, its not that messy just oh seems to be developing ocd yesterday i hoovered, mopped and polished downstairs while my dd ran round like a maniac undoing all my work, swept the garden and did all the ironing. (and he still finds something wrong!) Today ive got us showered and dressed (not incl ds of 4 months - he's going nowhere so can stay in babygro!)

you inspire me so i'll actually clean out the fireplace, hoover again and clean the oven hobs, like im going to tackle the inside i may never be seen again! thats if i get my ass of this computer!

grouchyoscar · 03/06/2008 11:24

Thanks IVC

sagacious · 03/06/2008 11:37

STOP talking about bloody biscuits

Bloody weightwatchers !

(oh have found keys.. they were on the kitchen table by the moonsand (yes I know what is moonsand doing on a kitchen table) even though I looked there 3 times this morning .. serves me right for not hotspotting it yesterday)

I need tea (and biscuits)

grouchyoscar · 03/06/2008 11:44

Oh Saga the chicken was lovely last night. I've stopped getting on the Wii fit as it's making me paranoid and I will not give up my food.

I shoved herby butter under the skin, in the cavity and massaged the rest over it. and the roast spuds round ot were just smashing

The breast is for sandwiches

mummymusings · 03/06/2008 11:46

sagacious i lose everything all of the time, normally my rag
once i lost my purse in Spain, i left it at a very nice hotel we were staying in, had to keep it secret from oh due to me having lost everything on that trip, smashed everything, left car door open with vast quantities of cash still under car seat, etc etc your normal everyday things..so it was a secret and i had to wait till the next time we flew out a couple of months later and sneak off back to reclaim me, good looking young man goes to get it smiles nicely, adios blah blah sitting there later going through it, clever me and OMG i had only left in the back zip 2 pics of my naked arse and stomach post pregnancy that were meant the be an incentive to stop eating crap actually i nearly died, naturally never been back, only you and my mum know. Its a secret, dont tell anyone! may i add the fact you couldnt see anything else of my body, id just cut it so it was my bum and then one of my tum, the shame!!

sagacious · 03/06/2008 11:47

Roast spuds?

I was at the MIL's on Sunday night
She roasts them in goosefat
They are to die for (literally FIL had a coronary)

I resisted
I should be a saint

I now want chicken sandwiches

EustaciaVye · 03/06/2008 11:47
