Grouchy the concentration box sounds like a good idea, I might nick it for my DS (same age as yours). After visiting school today it was quite apparent how poor his concentration is and how it affects his learning.

I am hating my dog right now! I took DD's up to bed and he ate my Boost bar. I had been saving that for after they were in bed.

No other choc in the house either!

Bad Bad Dog I would also kill for chocolate, although not going to happen

I HATE feeling ill, especially bunged up nose. I wake up all the time as I can not breeth though my mouth

I am at the hospital first thing to see DS1s consultant regarding his ongoing issues with his chest. He is also bruising really easy (in fact they asked about it at Pre School} so I need to mention that.
Dont think we will make it back in time for swimming, which is pants

Hello. Didn't get back after my ramblings earlier as DD woke up and we went to the library.
GO - thanks for the explanation. Never heard of one before, sounds like a great idea.
TMH - Hope the appointment goes well tomorrow. Keep us updated?
Tort - my dog once stole a bag of truffles I'd bought my mum for mother's day and scoffed the lot EXCEPT the champagne ones which apparently he didn't like
Welcome newbies! We're never described as cool, normally people start threads about the pointlessness of Fly...which is how I ended up here, but that's another story.

Dyls Nothing positive at the moment! Really struggling at the moment.
DS's keep asking for friends to come round. I keep putting them off. No wonder they haven;t been asked to friends recently. I have to sort things out.

i have a positive for you, you are a loving mum of 4. i have no idea how you manage by yourself with 4 dc, but you do its brilliant. please dont be so hard on yourself

yeah i do manage. But i am failing them, they need to have friends round. People are always doing play dates. DS's/DD asks me and i have to say no because of the mess.

must make me poo too then- my ds hasnt had a play date in over a year

i really wish i could say something to help. i know from your ealrier posts your struggling with lack of storage etc. but have no practicle solutions, a lot of my things i have raided from friends/family when they have clear outs. my flat would be bear virtually but for others help. do you have any friends that could possibly have friends getting new things perhaps ( i've recntly acquired 2 wicker storage boxes, a lamp and a 3 gorgeous rugs from friends of friends. there were some other bits and bobs that i couldnt fit in as well)

just a thought don't know if it'll help but do you have a local shop that you can collect empty boxes from. then put wrapping paper/wallpaper whatever on to decorate them to use as toy/storage boxes?

Dont think anyone has anything to pass on.
Kids have toy boxes but many toys are too big to fit in them plus their rooms are tiny.

Think i better get to bed. Toddlers tomorrow morn so no time for much clearing up then! Maybe it will get better when DD2 starts school!

sorry i've not managed to help. will keep thinking to see if i can find a way to help you. suspect it might be expensive to try and convince friends to post things to you
