Binned one large and two small broken plastic tubs along with a black sack of waste packaging and paper.

Did a drop off to the charity shop with items bagged up over the last few weeks. Charity shop doesn't take electrical goods so I still have the instant pot Mealthy accessory unfortunately.

Did a drop off to the recycling centre with two broken lawn mowers, a laminator, electric pixel toy, robo hoover, electrical part of an epilitical trainer, two battery packs, a bag of wasted batteries and a length of wood.

Only one ride on mower to go now in terms of broken machines and one ash vac which will be recycled if it goes unused this winter. One Mealthy to give away hopefully or it will join the recycling.

Going to try and target something every weekend and do the drop off after work on the weekdays. Trying to keep some momentum going.

I’m really on a big push now our redecorating has pretty much finished. So much stuff in boxes and we can’t keep it all!

Haha! Feeling rather proud of myself as I hate getting rid of furniture but there’s too much and it’s not helping us at all! It was a bit of a token amount but the buyer seemed pleased and didn’t mess around!

Trying to get rid of a few things from our store, planning to downsize and then empty our store before Xmas.

The baby I was pregnant with when I joined this thread is nearly 2, so I really do want to get on top of things!

Two large bundles of stuff sold on eBay plus a large vase that nobody particularly liked but didn't hate it so we hoarded it. All being packed up today, it's nice to also get rid of boxes, bags and bubble wrap too. Got an old bookcase to list on fb, might ask for £5 to try to deter timewasters although happy to give away for free.

Did my daily 5 minutes tidy of room of doom today and only really decluttered papers.

I then helped dd1 to declutter her room. She has adhd and struggles with this so I do a bit of her room about once a month.
Todays outs are

• two unopened Lego sets that I’ll sell on facebook
• Some sock drawer dividers
• 16 birthday cards
• a Batman toy
• a top trumps game
• a punctured football
• a bag
• a Viking helmet
• a boardgame
• Ten magazines
• a toy gun

ive chucked out the stuff that can’t be recycled / donated and combined with the stuff in the room of doom I have two big bin bags of clutter to go.

Binned 5 plastic book covers and a promotional string bag that was never used.

Sorted week 1 resources into my new expanding file and recycled any duplicates and planning notes no longer needed.

Brown bins filled with grass, weeds and branches from front and side garden. Unfortunately the leaves are starting to fall so it won't be clear and tidy for long.

These threads have inspired me over the year so going to try joining in posting! We’ve got a big age gap between children so too much clutter from keeping things over the years for the youngest - slowly getting rid of things as she’s ageing out of them.

This week I’ve sorted out a bag for life full of clothes from youngest wardrobe for charity shop, a coat from my eldest has been relocated to my parents house (they keep the “might use again clothes” for us!) a bag of random toy pieces / broken pens etc for the bin, a child bike seat to charity, 4 books to charity and a bag of no longer needed paperwork for recycling.

Oh and 3 educational games have been put out in the hall to give to school for their nursery department when they go back to week.

I managed to give away 3 plates, a bunch of kitchen stuff and some pots and pans today. And sell a microwave. Several more bags of rubbish too. Am definitely on a roll.

One duvet cover and two pillow cases.

No decluttering this weekend but I did a lot of mending.

Where do you send these? Im struggling to find places to get these reused…

Denby is lovely peony but I have enough plates haha (ASDA with rabbits on, if anyone cares 🐰).

@PeonyPatch I’d love Denby plates - if only my kitchen wasn’t full of plastic plates that dc won’t let me get rid of! Dd1 was obsessed with Moshi Monsters about 12 years ago and still makes herself lunch on her favourite plates and bowl and dd2 has a Percy pig set that I’m not allowed to get rid of.

Outs today are two IKEA framed paintings from the room of doom.

denby is gorgeous. I’m trying to sell Denby halo speckle if anyone is interested. Just odd plates x3 side and x3 dinner plates. Also have two mugs. Very random. Looking to eventually get a full matching set in something.
