I’ve made £99 on Vinted this week :)

Thanks @LilyCanna , I've not heard of them but there is a local drop off point so I'll offload some in their direction.

Number of watchers on eBay increasing so hopefully get some more sales & found a load of dolls house furniture to list. No takers for free wood & water tanks, might have to book a recycling centre appointment. Old water bottles with straws binned in plastics. Old manuals and guarantees for redundant electrical & white goods into paper recycling.

I was only joking. A start is a start. Good luck with the paperwork 🙂

Today’s outs include

• an iPad charging wire that doesn’t work anymore. Luckily I knew where the spares were as I’d labelled them last week and put them in a clear bag.
• Also I opened a pot of paint that’s been in my en-suite for about a year. It’s dry. Went onto my local authority’s tip website and it’s so ambiguous I don’t know if they’ll take the paint as they don’t accept ‘big’ tins but would take empty tins so I imagine people emptying paint down the sink just so the tin is ‘empty’.
• There’s also a big grey metal cube that used to be half of a broken paper shredder. I recycled the shredder part years ago and thought the cube would be handy. It wasn’t
• A decorative cardboard box that I have no use for now
• two waste bins.

i now have about three carloads of things to go to the dump. I think I might pay for someone to collect them as they include an old fence which is quite heavy.

Eek people are doing really well amd im on holiday and a bit behind!! I'll need to make up for a few lost days but I did at least pack some sample toiletries to use up finally. Not doing so great this week. Also have some to list on Vinted but it's not particularly expensive stuff so not sure it's worth my time

Today I went through the kitchen cabinets and through out a bunch of out of date stuff (which was not too bad actually). I also bought some plastic storage boxes from B&Q and I’ve arranged all tins and pantry items into there. It feels SO good.

Sold a big tub of toys on Facebook. Sorted a couple more things for the tip. Popped the last of the kids’ clothes into storage. And put up a few nice posters I had ☺️.

Holding pattern this week more paper shredding, need to scan more textbooks to see if any are saleable and thin the cookbooks out again

A few more bits from the kitchen sort out today. 4 things for the bin from the kitchen cupboard. I try to keep on top of things and avoid food waste, but spices need to be fresh and delicious rather than stale! Must cook more curries!

I’m accumulating more charity shop bags and a pile of household stuff that I will put outside when the weather is good. Trying to stay motivated.

Sorry I have been Mia. I got rid of 37 items today. Sold a dress on Vinted to.

I will have lots to ditch when the kids go back. I have just been focusing on enjoying them being off for the summer

Oh I posted something for vinted and a book I bought as a present months ago that I never got round to sending.

Spent 8 mins in the room of doom. Threw away some bookmarks dd2 made, shredded lots of papers, shredded a cheque book last used in 2025. Put a couple of cards made by dc into my memory box. It’s looking loads better.

Today's outs:

• two small drawer units via Facebook Marketplace (finally!) so a nice £10 in the bank.
• emptied one small round tub of stuff and distributed to where it needs to go (either craft room, bin or charity).

Future outs:

• business paperwork once scanned in (hurrah)
• present bought for sister once she visits

1 (that's sale number 100!) and a big pile of stuff ready to list which I must get on with this weekend.

Big push on the kitchen today. Thrown away several bags of rubbish/used up stuff including some paint sticks that always caused more mess than art and broken ball. 967

Maybe it’s the items I am selling

Sold 4 things on eBay and someone enquiring about other bits I am selling. Large bag of stuff ready to go to the charity shop . Found a few more bits of rubbish in the garden to clear out so that's the garden clear now. Partner cleared his car boot out , dumped some rubbish & recycled empty brake and clutch fluid and antifreeze bottles. Amazon delivered a much needed electric garden tool in a box within a ridiculously sized cardboard box, it's almost coffin sized so left the box outside to get wet so it's easier to tear up for recycling.

Listed some bits yesterday and sold 9 books! Very pleased 😊

We're on holiday and I packed a few things to use up. Days 239 and 240 were 2 kids activity books/sticker books now used up. Day 241 a handful of v small skincare samples used up. Feeling confident for the rest of the year so counting those as one!
