Morning Ladies

I have to very quickly tidy top to bottom (in a room rescue stylee) as our hair dresser is comming at 10am to do everyone's hair and the house looks like the morning after a student house party!!!

(plus this is my friend who has the beeyootiful huge house...with stables and anex where we are going to get ready for the May Ball....so that makes me slightly more paranoid! Actually she is a loveley person who I am quite sure would not judge at all...but still...I get the urge to clean for her! )

Hope you are all going to have an enjoyable saturday

Pack bags (staying at my sisters tonight)
Sort out what I'm going to wear tonight (BIG girly night out in London .. DH staying in with dc's )

AAhhh....just wiping the kitchen surfaces, wiped the cloth under the george forman thingy and a Pine Cone rolled out from underneath it! Gosh....scared me half to death...and I squealed like a pig!! LOLOLOL!!
Gawd knows what a pine cone was doing under there!!! just shows how often I actually wipe underneath it!
I'm still shaking now!!!!!

Kids all leapt up to see the beast/mouse/huge spider that had made me squeal so loud only to stare in dis-belief at the said pine cone!!

TheMadHouse · 19/04/2008 09:57

quick post from me, as we are off out. Must get DS2 an outfir for baby Ls christening in two weeks time. He has outgrown his only smart outfit.

I also really need something that I havent already warn to our boys christenings, but it is hard to make a fat bird look stylish

TeenyTinyTorya · 19/04/2008 10:03

Morning everyone!

80's dancing sounds fun saga

I'm enjoying the sunshine, as we are having a clear out weekend and emptying the loft and the garage. Have also

Hung washing
Put on another wash load
Tidied up living room

whispywhisp · 19/04/2008 10:15

Morning all.

Well I have to admit I've only just got up!

Now showered and dressed and ready to face the kitchen. DH has gone to work. Kids are busy - DD1 is teaching DD2 how to read. DD2 is only 4 but wants to learn to read and I must admit DD1 is doing a better job of it than I would!

Washing machine is sat waiting patiently for its first load of the day. Tumble drier is banned....had the electricity bill in last week - have got to cut back. Having said that its pouring with rain here today so will have to resort to clothes airer thingy put up in the bathroom. Dog needs a walk. Kids need feeding. Kitchen floor needs a clean over. Hey ho...best get on....but kettle first.

Janni · 19/04/2008 11:13

Hello all

Have already had a good tidy up this morning but there's still a mountain to climb..

1)toilets 2)stuff that's fallen off kitchen shelves 3)do laundry 4) our room and DDs room

I am SO bored with all the STUFF that accumulates around a family of five. I could SCREAM

whispywhisp · 19/04/2008 11:17

Well...so far...I've vacuumed downstairs. Just in middle of making my way up the stairs. Have bleached worktops. Fed the kids. Fed the dog. Next is upstairs which won't take long. One load of washing on. Next load lined up. Pile of ironing but nothing urgent. Oh the joys of being a FT Mum, Housewife, washer-upper, cleaner-upper etc etc.....

Ludaloo · 19/04/2008 12:23

Hairs all done

Now on with the house...

grouchyoscar · 19/04/2008 13:00

Got a lie in today, well an extra hour while Ed kept coming in our room with soft toys, requirements. In the end I got up with him, went downstairs to find a mountain of washing up left in the sink by DH (in a bowl of cold greasy water).

So I

Loaded DW and run
Shine sink
Wash the stuff that couldn't go in DW
Clear table
Empty DW
Clear draining board
Put away
Sort bottles for recycling
S&S worktops
Clean hob
Make Ed's breakfast
Empty WM
Sort for drying
Hang to dry
Take damp washing to dryer
Load TD and run

To Do

Tidy round in front room DH is sorting out some techy TV stuff so it's dust and cables everywhere
Sort stuff for tomorrow.

Ed still being defiant and a nightmare but he's reading Aliens love underpants to himself

BiancaCastafiore · 19/04/2008 14:53

Hello again

Just home from work. had a very busy morning tidying up after the other staff

Came home to find my period had started - there's no predicting it these days - it's 10days early this month! There was no PMT so that's something to be pleased about!

Very tired. Quite run down really. Broken tooth causing the odd problem.

A lady called into work who was in my antinatal class when I had dd. Her dd1 was born on the same day as dd, just an hour later It was fun to catch up - she's expecting dc5!...made me broody again...

Had to lol at Luda and the scarey pine cone
jannai it's the stuff that gets me down too - where does it come from??!
saga enjoy your night out

Ds is at a friends house. Dd has gone to get a new cycle helmet with dh so I ought to run the hoover round or something constructive.
BBL x

Dusted round the TV stand and mopped downstairs. Been getting a bit of rest.

I've got to do my Sunday bedtime Routine tomorrow morning so everything is straight forwards for Monday morning

Oh and I have to do the ironing tonight.

TheMadHouse · 19/04/2008 17:13

We have been to the metro centre and found nothing for the christening. COuldnt find anything we liked for DS1 - it was all really chavy or too casual or navy. So he is just going to wear his old stuff with the buttons undone - he he he

I couldnt find anything that could do for me either - didnt help that we had mum and she was with DS2 in the buggy, she said she would meet us (she used the lift) as we went on the escalators in Debenhams and 30mins later we still couldnt find her - she had gone up to the car park

BiancaCastafiore · 19/04/2008 17:49

Aww, TMH sorry you didn't have a successful shopping trip. Can we help find something online?

Did you get to the shops Ruby?

Dd has a very smart new cycle helmet She's very pleased with it. It's a shmae it was raining when she got home or she could've tried it out.

We've had a lazy afternoon. I did a quick tidy-up and put some washing in. Then dd and I have watched "Ballet Shoes", I think she enjoyed it but it was perhaps slightly too old for her to fully enjoy.

We're going to let the kids watch Doctor Who again this week - dd is looking forward to it, ds says he might wait upstairs till it's finished

TheMadHouse · 19/04/2008 17:54

Right - we are4 looking for a semi smart outfit for DS1 - something like in the picture I posted the other day.

He does not suit dark colours and I would prefer it not to be too trendy.

Well me - I am a 22 on top 18-20 bottom. Tend to wear trousers and flat shoes. Apple shaped large of breast (at least for now).

Baby Ls christening a week tomorrow - we will already have seen everyone at a party on the friday to which I will be wearing Jeans, green ballet flats and a nice green top.

The boys will be brown trousers and nice stripy bugendy shirts.

Do your best ladies
