Well all my peeps are home

They were tired and excited all at the same time when they got back.
DD2 proudly showed me her gap!
DH put all the photo's onto the computer, our new little nephew is gorgeous! very tiny! Ds proceeded to explain..
"he has tiny lickle hands, and tiny lickle feet and a tiny lickle head and tiny lickle eyes, and a tiny lickle mouth".....(and yes this went on for some time!)

They came back with pretty much an entire easter egg isle from woolworths! 4 eggs each! They will not be needing any off us now that's for sure!!
DH said he was getting annoyed trying to fit all 12 eggs in the boot!

They also came home with about 10 pairs of socks each!! (Nanny works for Sainsbury's and they were obviously end of line!)

The sun is shining today which is a bonus as I have to go and do a food shop with all the kids in tow!

Of course DD's are pulling out more games!

Thnaks for your good wishes for today Had a bad nights sleep so have a headache this morning but have nothing much to do before we leave after lunch so hoepto take it easy and relax. Feel very tense tbh but will keep breathing and take some pills (thanks TMH, I rely on them too )

Better get the kids dressed and sort some indoor activities for the kids to do with my parents this afternoon. Does anyone have a recipe for thosee simple little Easter nests? Do I just melt chocolate or is it something with syrup instead?

Lol, dh has just tried on his suit - he hasn't worn it since my Grandfathers funeral in 2005 It's a bit tighter round the tummy now! Sooo weird to see him in a suit rather than the work-mans clothes he usually wears. It'll be nice to dress up this afternoon

Bianca I just melt chocolate. We have rice crispie cakes with mini eggs on them at the moment! Yummy!

Thanks tort, we have the most enourmous bar of dairy milk so they can use that to make some. We have shredded wheat to look nesty
Just hope my dad and step-mum can manage to make them and that the kids behave for them this afternoon/evening [worried]

luda your nephew sounds so sweet. i know what you mean about too much easter eggs, mine have 5 each already,+ 2 aunties have them one each they've not seen yet. i have them one each and the easter bunny leaves little ones plus one biggish ( not the huge thankfully) ones in a hunt round the flat for them to find in the morning.
dd was sick in the night and diarheoa this morning, so wont be going to see my sis in the circus after all

I have never bought shredded wheat so didn't think it would make too much difference using the rice crispies that we already had.

Hair done. Tidied round bathroom but ran out of cleaner/wipes to wipe it over. Added them to shopping list! Hope i have some money in the bank.

I only bought sgredded wheat for the nests but dh has remembered how much he likes them so he'll have some exciting breakfasts for the next couple of weeks

Dog has been walked. It is freezing out there and quite windy. My hands were frozen! (gloves got dirty thanks to DS2 in the mud yest!)

On a good note my new warm and long coat off Ebay has arrived so i won't be so cold when we pop to the shops in a bit!

I am doing an egg hunt for the kids ready for tomorrow....but they are paper eggs and I'm going to stick them round the house, they don't need anymore chocolate!
As a prize I have bought them a Ben 10 Sticker album each and some stickers to put in it.

Sounds good Luda. I swear i am never buying a sticker album ever again though! Shops seem to stop doing the sticker packs too quickly and we never fill the book!

It is cold today tort we have had a few flakes of snow!!!!

Ds has the Ben Ten sticker book Luda great for little rewards every now and then Dd has (suprise, suprise) the HSM one

Dh has been to town and come home with a new hairdryer for me cos I was moaning about having a bad hair day
I've made the kids supper ready for this evening and we've made Easter cards for the Grandparents.

Need to have a quick tidy up and make sure everything my parents may need for this evening is ready and easy for them to find.
Then it'll be time for an early lunch (not that I'm able to eat anything!), a shower and then getting ready to go (YIKES!!)

Bianca I add a little golden syrup to the chocolate and shredded wheat, as it keeps it soft enough for them to pop them in the cases easily.

We have ate all ours so are going to do some more this afternoon, along with easter buscuits (I have bunny and chick cutters)

Well The sun is shining, I have had a lie in and DH is going to crack on with the patio, so I am taking the boys shopping for milk and to exchange some paint.

My two have only got 1 chocolate egg and 2 creme eggs. Instead they got a car each (with the egg of nanna), a set of poo figures (Bro) and some colouring stuff from my Mum. It took till october to clear the eggs last year, as they are not really into chocolate. So this year I said no eggs and if people wanted to buy a small pressie instead then thats OK.

I got my neice the swing set for a £5 that Lissie posted about on mumsnet!!!

My DD1 hasn't got into HSM at all.....my friends DD1 who is the same age absolutely loves it! It was on tv yesterday wasn't it (HSM2)
my DD1 is completely obsessed with Ben 10...as is DS and even DD2 likes to watch it.
Whilst away with daddy, they were spoilt rotten and he bought DS a Ben 10 watch, and DD1 some little action figures of the aliens he turns into.

so far have completely tidied the living room ( behind chairs and everything! ) tidyed the kitchen and stripped and remade my bed. I'm nearly finished now, just need to reload the washer. dont think we missing too much by being stuck in again, its very wet and windy here soo miserable

Ooooh TMH that reminds me...I usually do easter biscuits as well....we have easter cutters too.

tmh its not too bad about the circus as we can go another time, i follow my sis round for the first month or so of the season as she isnt too far away then. its when she goes off up to birmingham and wales etc we dont see her as much. hopefully dd wont be sick for so long this time, we havent had anything since 7.30 so fingers crossed its not as bad this time. you can bet if we had gone out it would have been tho.

I'm not getting much done. Well, i am but it is taking a while to show any difference! DD's keep making more mess.

Mop downstairs floors

Do reading and writing practice with Ed

DH going to Football at 4 so I'll have Ed til he gets back at 8ish. Might grab some rest now tbh. DH has promised a take out for tea so, can't complain

well everywhere is clean and tidy. we have sat down to watch garfeild for a little while. am popping to the shops in a little while to buy nephews b-day present. waiting for dd's dad to come round and sit with her so i can go.
good news is dd hasnt been poorly since 7.30 this morning so hopefully she'll be ok. she's not acting poorly, still being a cheeky monster
