Morning
I wouldn't use the tomatoes in the soup, either. I made a nice one last night with celery, onion, parsnip and carrots, but I do lke quite plain soups. If you've got a bit of cream, sirl tha in whe you serve it o make i look a bit more fancy

Mine play board games, but dd1 is also a bad loser. She doesn't cheat, bu sulks if she loses too many times (ie more than once!)

Just had to gt up, as dp kept turfing dd2 and ds out of our bed. If he'd just made space for hem I'd have been able to stay in bed, but he wouldn't , os ds kept climbng on myhad to try and get back in. Oh, well. I'm up now. One the house warms up a bit, I'll clean the kitchen up. I'm in FLY mood today, but dd2 is begging to go out so she has something to put in her busy book at school next week.

Thnaks I'll miss the tomatoes out then but I guess I just fry the onions/shallots first then add the veg with some stock (I have some bouillon powder, that OK?) and simmer till everythings soft? Do you puree it all? (actually, I prob would or the kids will pick out certain veg) I have some tiny pasta stars too which dd is desperate to use, would they go in it or not really? How much stock would I need to make soup for 4 adults and 2 children? I haven't got any cream Sorry - soooo many questions[terrible chef emotion]
Not sure the PiL will see this as an adequate Easter Monday meal...

Glad dd is better this morning Dyls
Jas I could be ina FLY mood if in-laws were staying away - I think dh and I could make good progress with some de-cluttering given the chance. Maybe they'll be able to take the kids out to the park for us for an hour or so...

Off for my bath now - dh has just come downstairs
