Morning All

Shopping all done. Going to have a late lunch now!

I bought myself a new iron.

We had some snow too. OK only a few flakes but that is more than we usually get.

Snow has just about all gone, parents showed up on doorstep when ds dp and I had just got out of hte shower and none of us were dressed. Father phoned to find out why we weren't answering the door and DP just had to explain! [mortified emoticon] Plus the house was a shi*t tip and ds was being hellish [incompetent parent emoticon]

npower telephoned and yelled at 3 times - when I've calmed down a bit I will be writing a letter of complaint to Ofgen

ds is asleep in his high chair - think he's got his canine teeth coming through

take ds to park to see if we can cheer him up a bit

BWB not fair i want some snow- i love taking the dc out to play in the snow

how old is you ds? just asking cos trying to work out if dd canines might be due to come at some stage soon?

Afternoon

Well DH has been snowed and hailled off, so I am letting him have the afternoon off and not start paintint and [saintly DH emo]

I have done what shopping we needed and am going to bake with DS1 in a while, just taking 10 mins for a cuppa and a catch up.

We are forcast for snow tomorrow too. He only has another 6 slabs to lay and four sleepers to put down and a bit more digging to doo. He has till tuesday evening to finnish outside. He can build the bin store another weekend (he bought the wood and posts at the same time as the slabs etc)

I have nearly finished washing up! I don't know why there is soooo much of it! DD's have gone outside to play,they must be mad.
No more snow here. Sunny at the moment.

Kitchen is looking better but still need to clean the floor. Tiny bit of washing up left to do.
DS's will be home soon and i haven't got anywhere near tidying bedrooms.

OOps...ended up having some rest time and dropping off, Just finished my to do list

Ed being terribly annoying at the moment. I'm sick of having to shout at him to get him to take notice. Just wait til his father gets home as he's asking me not to tell.

TMH. Spooky time again...DH is a Leeds season ticket holder (God help him) I was one too but Ed arrived in time to avoid relagation from the Premiership.

dylsmum ds is 17 months old but he was 6 weeks prem so about 15.5 months equivalent

I am desperatly trying to think of good places to hide easter eggs and good clues to guide them to the right spot.
It isn't easy!

Hi Guys, Tired and fed up here

House a tip, but we went and bought a new fish tank and some new fish to keep current goldfish company this afternoon. It is 2 x the size so I've had to move things around to find it a home. We now have 5 fish!

Cant get going and I have my knee op next week so need to get things sorted before then...

FGS Sorry you are fed up. Mine is a mess too. Well, mainly upstairs. i asked DC to pick up any of their toys off the stairs and tidy up in thier rooms. The stairs is still covered in stuff and their rooms were worse.

Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone
We have woken up to a carpet of snow this morning

Managed the wedding OK yesterday - the journey was tense but OK, thanks for all your good wishes, I'm sure they helped
The wedding was a civil ceremony (first one I've been to) and was over in 10minutes We spent the afternoon/eve with dhs gay cousin and his partner who are hysterical so had many many laughs
We had decided we would probably go back today fo rthe party but the snow has given us the perfect excuse not to so we'll stay home and have a family day instead

Kids are watching TV with dh downstairs and haven't asked for Easter eggs yet but I'll go down and sort them out soon

there's snow here again today yay! I'm going to chuck ds out in the garden later and see what he makes of it. Lets hope he can keep his wellies on for longer than five minutes.

fgs sorry you are feeling a bit glum, our house is a tip too at the moment, I just don't know where to start. I do the superficial stuff but never tackle the really big problems or upstairs

I am very very of the snow! It snowed a few flakes last night, but we have woken up to heavy rain

My 3 haven't mentioned their eggs either!
Oh....Hold that thought...DS has just asked...I guessed he would be the first to ask!

Better go and sort them all out!

Ewwwww! Just cuddled up to ds and found loads of headlice in his hair [yuck]- we're all itchy now and are off to do a family de-licing session before we start our day! I'll have to warn my parents too after they spent the afternoon with them yesterday.

Ds came upstairs to tell me it was Christmas The snow has got him in a muddle - bless him.

They always appear in the holidays don't they!! My neighbours children have had them recently, so I've been checking mine every so often too.
ooooh just the thought makes me itch!

Right I'm off to get my chocolate covered kids washed and dressed!
Shopping today...I didn't get around to it yesterday, but we are low on everything now so I need to do it today.
Must re-light the fire too...it is freezing outside today. The rain has stopped so hopefully that might mean snow is comming [hopeful emoticon]

nope...according to the BBC Weather, we are not due snow at all....

We're lucky we've only ever had them once before - poor ds is really upset at the thought of them in his hair quite seriously distresed Poor chap.
They're both in the bath now getting ready to be shampoo-ed!
Dh and I will have to treat our heads too - we're both v itchy since seeing them on ds!

that's a shame Luda. OUr snow is too slushy to last - not the kind of snow we could've been and built snowmen in or anything, but pretty anyway. It's stopped atm but the forecast says we may get more later

I'm like you there Bianca...I have to make sure the whole family gets treated, whether I can see any on me and dh or not! Better to be safe than sorry really.
At least then you know everyone has been done.
We have clouds and a bit of sunshine ATM, i wish it would make its mind up!
its easter...it should be getting warmer. There are little lambs appearing now, so snow wouldn't be very good really.
