Mission

I was rubbish yesterday, only did my bedtime routine, so must get back on it again to redeem the week.

Back with my lists when I've got DS out of bed.

Morning puppy

We're all up early, but dd1 has a hacking cough and almost no voice, so it looks like no school for her, and no toddler group for me and ds.
The ds are probably up early due to me and dp arguing at 6 am The alarm(s) went off at 5.30. I woke him both times, and at 6 I woke him again and he had a go at me for no getting him up earlier! WTF. I am not his mother and refuse to baby a grown man

He did apologise before he left.

Ah well, best get them fed and the day started....

Morning puppy

Morning dream (my dh is just the same!)

My DD2 kept me awake ALL night, she has a terrible cough too. Kept coughing, then sicking up phlem....all night
She seems as right as rain this morning

Well my fingers are crossed, as I finally think my stomach ache has gone. Hopefully the stones have safely passed now! With that note, I need to get on with the house this morning as all 3 are at school/nursery.

Well better get on and get the kids ready

Laters

Morning all. Just been catching up with threads, don't seem to have the time this week! DH back to work today so back into normal routine a bit more. Taking DD to the drs as her cough isn't shifting and now sounding more chesty - the NHS is doing well out of us flyers at the moment!

Thanks for the thread Puppy.

Dream - my DH has an alarm that would wake the dead but doesn't wake him unfortunately so when he's on an early it goes off at 5.40 waking me and DD while he sleeps on. Very irritating. Hope DD's cough improves.

Morning routine underway and can't do the mission as our fridge is built into the kitchen... will do some decluttering instead.

Hope everyone's feeling a bit better today.

intravenouscoffee · 14/03/2008 07:47

X posts - Morning Luda. Glad you're feeling better. Are coughs just compulsory for the DC at the moment?

Ludaloo · 14/03/2008 07:50

Morning IC Thank you
It seems like all the littlies are coughy doesn't it! Must be the weather... (if in doubt blame the weather )

dylsmum1998 · 14/03/2008 08:05

TheMadHouse · 14/03/2008 08:55

Morning all

Another one with couging DS's here. I think it must be the time of the year.

we are off to music and movement this morning and then back for lunch and DS2's nap. No plans as yet for this afternoon.

Fly wise I did the mission earlier in the week:

Hoover upstairs
change DS's beds
Polish downstairs
Hoover and Mop downstairs
Wrap Birthday Pressies

I am really tired as DS1 is refusing to wee in his nappy at night, so keeps waking for the loo - anyone know about night lifting?

EHM · 14/03/2008 09:04

Morning All

puppy thanks for the thread
dream I HATE when that happens for you. Poor dd1, coughs appear to be the thing at the mo, along with d&v.
lulapoor dd2. fingers crossed stones have passed.
coffeegood luck at the dr's
dylsmumgood luck at dr;s too.

must get dressed & catch up with yesterdays thread

Ludaloo · 14/03/2008 09:12

Right...Ladies...I have approximately 2 hours (ish) and my task for those 2 hours is to completely declutter the dreaded understairs cupboard

It is an absolutely awful cupboard. Kids shove shoes, bags, coats general crap in it willy nilly (usually lob them right to the back where they will never be found again)

DH moans everytime he opens the door as things fall out on top of him. Couldn't find any shoes this morning...DS has gone in pumps, DD2 has gone in wellies!

So...all other plans aside...I HAVE to sort it out once and for all.

WAIL, SOB SOB.....

I'll sign back in when it is done, if it hasn't swallowed me up that is!

BiancaCastafiore · 14/03/2008 09:17

Morning

Puppy thanks for the thread. Hope you get on well today
Dream on your behalf....my dh is just the same.
Luda glad your tummy ache has passed. Sorry about the coughs - my two have it too.
IC good luck with the decluttering.
TMH enjoy music and movement.
Dyls hope your poor dd is better soon.

I've been into school and presented the story sack a group of us mums have made
I have a dentist appt in an hour so am keeping busy to take my mind off it! I've (with a little help from dh already stripped the beds and the first wash is on.
I'm going to run the hoover round and dust a bit which I suspect will take me up to leaving time.

My brother is trying to encourage me to sign up for this course....tempting....

Back later

BiancaCastafiore · 14/03/2008 09:19

Bags, coats, bags full of bags, bags full of coats Halloween crap, christmas decorations, boxes of my dad's vinyls, umberellas, shoes, more shoes and more shoes, phone directories, millions of Next Catalogues (how many do they think people need!?) Wellies, ruck sacks, sleeping bags, a bouncy castle! Camping chairs...

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck at the dentists Bianca The course looks interesting actually, would be quite beneficial wouldn't it.

Ludaloo · 14/03/2008 09:31

Oooooohhh aaaaarrrrghhhhh AND SPIDERS!!! EEWWWWW

BiancaCastafiore · 14/03/2008 09:34

It does look quite intertesting Luda....I'm just not feeling up to it tbh - I'm having major self-doubts at the moment and feel as though I'd be too stupid to complete the course ...

Your cupboard sounds like a typical cupboard in this house - good luck!

Morning all!

Well I have 2 hours of child free time so I'm going to get OFF MN and do:

Room rescue : study
Make beds
Sort out my nemesis (the craft stuff)
Sweep downstairs floor
Water plants
Cull/sort kids magazines

Back with lots of dones soon !

DontDreamItBeIt · 14/03/2008 09:54

Bianca - I like the look of tha course. I hink you should give it a try. You are definitely not oo stupid, and it migh even boost your confidence a bit when you do it and succeed

Luda - Itmay sound mad bu I am of your upboard. We have all tha stuff and more, but it is spread all over the house as I just don' have the cupboard space.

DD1 is trying to assemble an out of production playmobile castle with no instructions and no picture atm That should keep her occupied for a while.

My morning routine is done, but the house doen't look much better for it Better try and get something else done.

Ludaloo · 14/03/2008 10:11

Well the cupboard looks brilliant!!! All hoovered out and everything

The hall.....stairs.....kitchen and living room completey trashed LOL I'm kind of trapped by the front door!

Oh Bianca you are definately capable of doing it! Why not look into it a bit more, I think it would be something really cool to do!

sagacious · 14/03/2008 10:12

I'm still here

I am now going

Ludaloo · 14/03/2008 10:18

Dream you are more than welcome to the bloomin thing, Its the bain of my life! Every morning I open it and feel my irritatedness levels rise!
(even more than they are already, trying to get 3 kids dressed....today it took DD1 25 minutes to put her socks on!)
Then I have to listen to DH grumbling away at it, then have to literally dive to the back to find a far flung shoe or bag...... GAH!

On the plus side though, I have found DS's shoes (right at the back) and my left boot which has been missing for ages. Also found the cup holder tray off the pushchair!!

Also found a bag of baby things, like reigns, hats, all in one waterproof things which I am going to palm off lovingly donate to my friend who has just had a baby boy

babyjjbaby · 14/03/2008 10:21

change of plan i am going to go and help my sister do some flying lolcos she says she can't stand her house so will be back later and then do my house lol

dylsmum1998 · 14/03/2008 10:28

ludo your cupbaord sounded interesting - til you said spiders I've gone all cold and shuddering at the thought of it
Bianca go for it- you are not to stupid to do a course- think positive
so far have got up and dressed us all, had breakfast, washed dishes and unloaded one lot from machine and put 1 morre in
to do
declutter remaining kitchen cupboards
tidy and hoover
s&s bathroom
ironing
load wash machine about another 2 loads to do
dust
wash sofa cushions

spoke to health visitor when i phoned doctors, she said to keep making sure dd is drinking lots and not to worry unless she becomes lstless or stops drinking. apparently her good bacteria are depleted she just need them to build back up and she'll be fine (don't undertsnad how if she keeps being sick/runs). cos she is fine in herself was trying to jump off sofa whilst talking to health visitor!
