Morning All

I have a really sore throut, neck and a blocked up nose, sat here feeling sorry for myself, as everytime I close my mouth I wake up, as I can not breath

So Mission

I think today should be an homage to the wise old Bird Ruby and Have named it Ruby Tuesday in her honour.

I am still thinking wobmy, whale like sounds and sticky thoughts (although I still have no idea as to why when visualising them, I get the whale noises in the background) cant hurt through EHM can it?

Tort Hope you manage to get a little more done this am - set that time for 15 mins and go for it, bin bag in hand

SO FLY buds, I have taken the tablets, emptied the DW, loaded the WM and am going to try to go back to sleep. If not there may be more Mad ramblings

Ludaloo · 11/03/2008 08:00

Morning All

I have only briefly read through yesterday's thread...

Bianca I'm glad you got to visit your mum and her grave looked so pretty. As you know I lost my mum when I was 14, but I have no idea what the actual date was, and she was scattered...and I have no idea where!
I sometimes mean to ask dad all the details, but TBH as awful as it sounds, I haven't forgiven her enough to want to find out.
(she was an alcoholic...very grim memories )

Oh..bianca I think we might be going to visit new baby on Friday, but we will only be able to stay one night as DH has a rally to Marshall on Sat afternoon. I am not sure, but I think that is what he said. If we are staying long enough, I'll let you know

TMH I can only echo what Ruby has said (and she has said it all very well)
Just big {hugs} for you xx

EHM Big warm womby thoughts for you

Hello to all

Well I have had a mare! About 2pm yesterday I was as sick as a pig
Had to call DH home from work to look after the kids.
I was then sick about 5 times, until about 6pm when I finally stopped!
I feel ok again this morning though...thankfully!

On the plus side...I came down to find DH has done everything!
He made supper for the kids...put them to bed (with a story!)
He has loaded and run the D/W
Tidied the living room
Hung a load of washing on the radiators
Lit a fire
Fed the Guinea Pigs

I didn't think he actually knew how to do all that!!!

I also heard him speaking on the phone (to his mum or his sister I think) telling them that he thinks I do a brilliant job and he doesn't know how I cope!
We know though don't we!

He said it is a mare...you just cook..tidy up...entertain the kids...tidy up...do the washing...tidy up...put kids to bed...tidy up....then you are sooo tired you want to die!

Now he knows!!!

I am not sure he would ever admit it to me, but I am chuffed I heard him saying it anyway

damewashalot · 11/03/2008 08:24

Morning all

You are so much better at me than this and I can never remember what I've read brain is real mush this time

TMH being new on here I've kind of worked out your situation from posts but don't know the full story (I'm not suggesting that I need to in case it sounds like I'm trying to be nosey) but I didn't want to say nothing, it seems to me that you are a very brave lady making a very difficult decision and I'm glad you seem to have the support you need both in rl and on here.

Need to get boys to school, shall finish posting later as have just seen time

FunkyGoldStar · 11/03/2008 08:29

Morning all.

DD1 has started waking with the sun so I'm a bit tired. DD2 just gone for a nap which is way too early but she's really tired so now I plan to whizz about for 15 minutes and get lots done!

PuppyDogTails · 11/03/2008 09:30

Welcome dylsmum

One of the key things for me with FLYing is the 15 minute idea - if you spend 15 mins a day on decluttering it will soon sort itself out. It's amazing what you can get done in 15 minutes when you really focus. When the decluttering is done, you then spend your 15 minutes on detailed cleaning. As Dream said, this week we are decluttering/cleaning in the kitchen.

trinity Poor You & poor baby. I've read your thread & dances mentioned ear infections, dd has had a few & they so cause similar symptoms. the dr can set your mind at ease.try & get some rest.

TheMadHouse · 11/03/2008 09:39

Trinity Please dont be sad about the anti'd and the referal. You are getting help and that is what counts.

I can talk about this throught experiance, ahving suffered from depression as a child and also when my dad died and again serve PND after DS2 and subsequent m/c.

I received superb treatment with the local mental health team, 24 hour crisis care, consultant care and also subsequent weekly CBT at home. I am on the upward streach at the moment, looking at reducing my meds over the next year gradually, although my CBT is winding down, I will remain under consultant care rather than GP, as it geives me access to other help should I require it with the cancer issues.

I have an illness, it is being trated and I have the tools to try to prevent it coming back, but also to regognise its symptons and deal with them at an ealier stage.

It has not been easy, but my driving force has been the children. I gre up with a depressive mother and I do not want them to see what I did under any circumstanmces.

feel fry to cat me to discuss anytime. I am not ashamed of my issue, it is an illness just like cancer
