Morning All

I have a really sore throut, neck and a blocked up nose, sat here feeling sorry for myself, as everytime I close my mouth I wake up, as I can not breath

So Mission

I think today should be an homage to the wise old Bird Ruby and Have named it Ruby Tuesday in her honour.

I am still thinking wobmy, whale like sounds and sticky thoughts (although I still have no idea as to why when visualising them, I get the whale noises in the background) cant hurt through EHM can it?

Tort Hope you manage to get a little more done this am - set that time for 15 mins and go for it, bin bag in hand

SO FLY buds, I have taken the tablets, emptied the DW, loaded the WM and am going to try to go back to sleep. If not there may be more Mad ramblings

lol ruby. I'm sat in my armchair looking at my kitchen cos its so tidy looking. so totally understand you looking at the cupboard, although deliberatley not looking at tha living room end of the room as dd is playing about 4 games, which obviously need to be scattered everywhere remind me why i bothered tidying earlier?

EHM · 11/03/2008 12:09

congratulations auntie luda ruby I new there was something a foot when the cats ear pricked up! I would have done the same. is dd2 any better?
trinity I rarely posy about flying at the moment. I am here for the banter & support from these lovely ladies who are fab. I don't know you but hope I can help support you along with the rest of this lovely bunch. Even if it sonly to give a virtual {hug}. Look after you & baby today.

Lots of posts since my last one...I can't keep up. Dizzy my head is spinning in wirl pool it never ends...soooooo dizzy. We are just having lunch then I will have to pick up the many Carefree panty liners (dont ask) Ellie has scattered cross the liviingroom.

Shannaratiger · 11/03/2008 12:15

Afternoon everyone

Hope evryone is ok. Haven't read any threads since friday, computer crashed saturday & we have lost all teh photos and everything. Hadn't backed up since November 2007 . Have now got to find £100 for a data recovery from PC world. Will catch up adn be back when it's all been sorted out (hopefully).

Grouchyoscar · 11/03/2008 12:19

Hello Again

I'm feeling better for a sit down. I've sorted the front room out for Ed when he gets home. I've even put up a small train set.

Got a fair bit to do this aft. There is a health and wellbeing event at the school. Then Ed is going to visit his new childminder then I'll take him for tea at weatherspoons.

See you all later

Ludaloo · 11/03/2008 12:19

Thank you EHM
She had him at 2pm yesterday, 7lb 12oz (I think)
at the pantyliners....my DS once stuck an entire packet of Always Ultra to the bedroom window!

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/03/2008 12:20

Tried to post but everything sounds really naff, so just going to leave a for those who are low and a reminder that these threads are always much more than housework, which is one of the reasons I love them.

Back from toddlers.
Whole house is a til, so I'm going to take my own advice and start on the kitchen while ds eats something.

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 11/03/2008 12:37

At last! I made it!

Have done loads

Emptied and loaded dishwasher
All the washing and drying
Made chocolate brownies
Ordered new fence panel
Put out food waste bins
Swept kitchen floor
Peeled spuds for tea

To do

Animals water
Have lunch
Sort wardrobe
Tidy our room

scattyspice · 11/03/2008 12:41

Afternoon all. Have just read through the thread. I agree that the housework is the least of our wprries (and so it should be). Sometimes I post things on here then feel as if I've already done them LOL. I just love the Flylady though.

LUDALOO - Poor you. But well done on having an appreciative husband.
FGS - Mine have started getting up early too (didn't click on it must be the sun). I have a blackout blind but it doesn't really help.
DYLSMUM - hi. Sounds like you've got the hang of it already.
SLEEPYCAT - sympathies for your disturbed nights. Mine never slept through until recently. DD was in my bed again last night (after waking up 3 times).
TRINITY - Your poor LO hope ok now.
RUBY - poor LO too.
GROUCHY - my DS is also terrible at getting dressed for school. Tried many different tactics but still a huge problem.
SHANNAR- what a shame about the computer.

Minimal flying at Scatties due to the builders. The roofer bravely turned up this morning. I hope he will be ok as more wind forcast for later.

Take care all.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/03/2008 13:08

Well, I've just finished the morning routine, and you can now see(most of) the kitchen worktops.

I need to hoover down here, and do something with dd2/ds' room. I'm trying to get her to keep it tidy herslef, but she doesn't manage and it is at the point where I'm breaking things standing on them if I need to go in to ds in the night.

I'll hoover and do 15 mins, then report back....

Yes, Congrats to you dsil Luda
Also, at your dh yesterday.

I'm very happy with what I've got done in 15 mins. The bedroom floor is clear(ish) and most of dd2s clothes are put away. She is supposed to be doing this herself, but obviouslystill needs supervision.
I'm going to do another 15 mins, and then stop and play with ds. I think he'll fall asleep if I leave him too long.

Minkus · 11/03/2008 13:46

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/03/2008 14:47

Luda.

damewashalot · 11/03/2008 14:49

really not done well today, SPD really bad, I guess it was the getting in and out of bed all night with ds but I'm like an old woman. I need to get my life sorted before I have this baby.

DontDreamItBeIt · 11/03/2008 14:52

You need to rest too. You know the more you push yourself the worse it gets. Can the mw offer anything to help?

Re the house, things will improve if you keep doing as much as you can on he good days.

damewashalot · 11/03/2008 14:53

Sorry, self pity there for a moment, I know people have it a lot worse, hormones and pain taking over

Have sort of scanned thread and am sending hugs to those who need them.

damewashalot · 11/03/2008 14:55

One of the things I know I neeed to do is train my kids to pick stuff up as 5 mins of them in the house and it looks as bad as it started, they haven't been set a good example I'm afraid
