Very boring one sorry!
I'm looking at the Tota laundry hamper and wondering if it's worth spending that much money on a laundry bag. .and also has anyone found a similar one cheaper?

Er, we have two of them and they are great. One for kids whites and other stuff, and one for separating grown up washing. Very easy to pull out internal bag, and lob the contents in the washing machine.

I actually really like that laundry basket and would imagine that it's a high quality product given it's made by Joseph Joseph. It's currently on offer on JL website and I'm quite tempted.

So in response to your question I would buy it, but I also paid well over £50 for my kitchen bin which coincidentally has turned out well since it's 18 years old and still going strong (Barbrantia 50L stainless steel).

I'd love it, having two bins that can be lifted out is the dream. Sadly I just can't bring myself to spend £90 on a laundry basket Sad

I have one. It’s good. But you can fit loads in it - which means when it’s full, it feels like you’re tackling laundry all day.

I have the triple one. It felt like a really extravagant buy for me but I absolutely love it (is it possible to love a laundry basket!?)

I’ve got a normal lined wicker one that I’ve had for years, perfectly good, so can’t comment on the one you want.

It would be no good for me because DH (as lovely as he is) cannot separate washing to save his life. I’d only end up having to go through the separated bins/bags every time anyway. He does his fair share around the house btw but washing is my domain. Plus, I’d need 4 bins - wools & delicates, darks, whites/lights, mixed coloured/normal wash.

Ooh I really want that bin now!

Seems it would be a good buy but interesting that a pp found it flimsy.
I need something that holds washing for a family of 5 and then also i can get everyone to separate their own bloody clothes rather than me doing it.

Anyone know if they usually go on sale during black Friday or anything?

I have it!! I love it but to be honest I rarely pull the bags out and still have to sort through it all as husband never separates the colours / white. But it's good quality and will last me the next few years I hope.

Ooh I'm now tempted. I didn't know I was in the market for a laundry bin but not it seems I am.

We have the Joseph Joseph bin. Had it 6+ years and had no issues.

We have the double one and I love it! Can't believe how much difference it made, or how ridiculously middle aged it made me feel!

Similarly the £80 smart black split bin we bought a few weeks ago! Our old bins were falling apart so needed replacing. It felt a bit much but actually I'm really pleased with them.

I'd buy it if I liked it but I'm not sure. It looks a bit too structured for me. Another thing...are the laundry bags washable themselves? Should be but I can't see it documented.

I have it, and love it. We’re tight on space and it works really well for us. Shop around though, because we ended up saving about 40% off the rrp.
