Morning !

mission

Good mission for me, ds back at school so i'm going to sort out the toy box

Wow I can't believe it I have really been good this morning. Normally would be in pjs till 11.30 ish (complete slovenly wench), then a mad rush around to get me/ds ready to drive him to nursery (15 miles away) without a thing having been done in the house.

So far:

  1. Breakfast for everyone (ds dh cat and I)- Done
  2. Dishwasher unloaded/loaded as necessary- done
  3. Load of washing hung up and another in- done
  4. Decide on what dinner will be- done, gammon out of freezer

Still need to:

  1. do online grocery order
  2. More washing (will peg on line today I think looks lovely out)

I like the mission today, our conservatory is our living room now (living room transformed into playroom) and there are lots of catalogues and magazines etc hanging about that I can spend 15 mins on getting cleared.

The baby steps are coming back to me! Thank goodness for this thread and you lovely lot for reminding me how nice it is to have a few things done early on (says she after 1 whole morning of babysteppting again x

TBH I think its this thread that gets me doing stuff I do need a bit of a push!

Can't believe how busy it is this morning !

HAVE
Done morning routine
Written sick note (ds insisted I wrote about the scary giant teddy and molton lava )
Taken ds to school
Had a cup of tea and breakfast
One load washing on

NEED TO
Wipe over fridge and chuck out old salad
Sort out sainsbury delivery when it arrives
Sort out futility room
Ironing (will do this when dd at nursery)
Clean kitchen table
Mission (toy box)
Home bleurghing (as didn't do yesterday)

Have half an hour before Sainsburys due to arrive so will make a start

I have cancelled CBT and put another load of washing in
Got DS2's chicken stew out of the freezer for lunch.
Mission completed - DS1 has his Little Einsteins top on - oh yes consumerism at its best

Ring M&S as bunk bed delivery has changed to the end of march - pants
Buy wrapping paper

I'm having a terrible morning so far I have to wear a denture after an accident as a teenager left me with no front teeth and this morning the wretched thing has broken This means I have to send it off to be repaired at lunchtime today and will have no front teeth till mid-morning on Friday It'll cost a few hundred £s to repair plus I'll be having a spare one made so it's all very depressing. We had a big court case hen I had my accident and the yob who caused the accident had to pay me £60 compensation - all the dental work has cost me well over £1000 over the years and that's with a sympathetic dentist who has been helping with the cost

Need to go and run any errands now while I can still manage.

So lets have a go at this....

  1. Get up, showered dressed. Done
  2. Swish and swipe
  3. Make beds done well, mine need to do boys
  4. Feed boys Done
  5. Pack lunches Done
  6. Empty dishwasher
  7. Dress ds3 and encourage big 2 to get dressed ( not shout)Done with little shouting
  8. Do school run Done
  9. Clean downstairs loo
10. Put washing in to dry 11. Quick tidy in livingroom 12. Put books on new bookcase in bedroom 13.Hoover upstairs

14 Spend ages faffing on mn writing a list Done

The one thing I ave started doing this term is always making sandwiches at tea time so I don't end up doing it a 10-30 or in the morning, makes life easier.

so far i haev got us dressed made my bed made cot tidied up and have sorted out my cuboard all my xbox games are nice and tidy and the upstairs is semi tidy gonna have brekkie now

Hey all! I'm up and dressed, had healthy breakfast (does anyone else find FLYing makes them eat better?!?) and baby is up, changed, fed and has gone back to sleep again .

To do:

Put wash on
Hang wash out
Put dry laundry away
Tidy living room
Hoover Living room rug
Mop living room floor
Write grandad's birthday card and mum's mothers day card

Bianca - teeth sounds a nightmare. Hope you get it back by the weekend.

I've been into town to get DD1s glasses fixed as the nose pad had come off. They broke them so we got a brand new pair which haveno scratches on or anything!

DD2 just gone for a nap. DD1 having a gingerbread man and some tv. So...both happy and I am on here!

Swish and swipe is basicly swishing the loo with brush and swiping bathroom with cloth, the idea is keeping it clean by doing that everyday, think might be a baby step?? you need one of the experts or to look at fly lady site.

But I'm not here, i'm busy doing stuff

sushi - the whole point of flylady is babysteps. I'm having a good 'doing' day today. The other day I was ill, depressed and sobbing on DH and feeling like a failure at everything. It's important we give ourselves time to be a bit pathetic sometimes and then capitalise when we're feeling good.

I have:

Put away shopping
Sorted fridge
Taken out washing
Joined the mn lose the muffin top thread (I really really really need to sort my weight out)

I will not eat the doughnuts they are the dc's and I will have a cup of tea instead (repeat 1000x)

Apple turnover ...mmmmmm

Hello EVERYONE - sorry, if I read this thread as well as all the time I've already spent on MN today I won't get a single thing done.

Things are a bit chaotic, but not unhappily so - am feeling laid back about it.

Need to: tidy kitchen and do dishwasher, make any unmade beds, do DDs meds etc

Have also put towels on to wash

hanging washing out took a while as once ds had boots on and was out didn't want to come in making progress.

Looks like people are doing well today

OMG my washing machine* has died - AAARRRGGGHHH.

And all the talk on line suggests it's buggered and not worth mending . Wonder how quickly I can get someone to deliver me a new one?
