Dirtiest Pyrex dishes ever. Are they salvageable?

OK NO JUDGING AT THE STATE OF THESE PLEASE!!!

I found these languishing at the back of the pan cupboard when I went to put away a lovely new pan and it didn’t fit. Not used for aeons and from an old life really when I was a student-style clueless slob well past the age that I should have known better!!!

This is very old, very thick dried grease-grime, solidified on. I don’t want these dishes now as I have some beautiful colourful Le Creuset stoneware that I am unhealthily obsessed with carefully clean after each use. Clearly I didn’t take care of these in the same way.

If they were in decent condition then I’ll donate them, otherwise it’s landfill and guilt sadly. Is there a way to save these does anyone think? They’re beyond a squirt of oven cleaner and a scrub with a sponge I think.

I can't imagine getting them completely clean by hand. Ask someone with a dishwasher to do them for you, they should come out like new. (All casserole dishes used to look like those back in the days before dishwashers)

My mum used to have an enamel pan that was my grandma’s and had decades of crap caked on it.

Then she got a dishwasher and a year later after a weekly go in it, the pan was like new again!

You definitely need a grease tackling product so it should
I would not scrub it heavily with pink stuff as it will put a lot of microscratches in, which in time could cause the glass to break at a very unexpected moment! Oven doors literally explode (whilst not in use) for this reason.

Pour kettle of boiling water and 2 spoons of Astonish Clean and Revive (£2 Wilkos)

They have been soaking for two days. Either OP has been overcome by the fumes or she is filming an advert for the products she used and is about to be revealed as the new Mrs Hinch......

Or petrol rubbed all over to loosen grease then hot strong soapy scrub

C'mon Nanette Newman, show us which half you washed in ordinary liquid and which half you washed in Fairy Liquid.....

You should have done one in oven cleaner and the other in something else

Sorry all. Had some pretty big sad news yesterday so life has taken over and the dishes are still in their plastic melty prison.

But fuck me that stuff is brutal! The bottoms that were fully sat in it are clear and the goo is black. I’ve tilted them around to dunk the handles and leaving them like that for a while and will turn them around in the morning hopefully
