How often do you wash your bedding?

I wash all the bedding every Sunday. My MIL was absolutely horrified that I washed it that frequently . I was equally shocked that she didn't. I dread to think how frequently she washes her sheets but I wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't changed them since lock down as her cleaner usually does it!!!

Every 7-10 days depending how busy my weekend is. During lockdown down, every week, as I have no distractions!!

Mamashark1802 · 14/06/2020 23:00

😱😱😱👌

Stayfreshcheesebags · 14/06/2020 23:00

Same. Every Sunday. I call it clean bed day Grin

Mamashark1802 · 14/06/2020 23:01

My 6 yr old son is still wetting the bed so i have to was his nearly every day (so frustrating ) but generely wash mine on wash day (sunday)

Afishcallledbob · 14/06/2020 23:02

Not enough. Probably should do mine it's been over a month Shock

In my defence my dd has been in hospital so it's not been at the forefront of my mind. Normally every other week.

ilovepixie · 14/06/2020 23:02

Once a week. Love clean bedding

Notso · 14/06/2020 23:13

I aim for weekly but if there's bad weather less frequently as drying is an issue and we no longer have loads and loads of bedding.

timetest · 14/06/2020 23:17

Twice a week sheets and pillow cases, weekly for duvet covers.

Mixitupalot · 14/06/2020 23:20

Every Thursday, couldn’t go longer than a week... minging!

AbsolutePleasure · 14/06/2020 23:21

Every 2 weeks-ish. No real pattern to it, just when I think it's needed.

FranklyDearIDontRiverdance · 14/06/2020 23:24

Once a week in summer months and once a week in winter.

anothermansmother · 14/06/2020 23:24

Twice a week Wednesday and Sunday for mine. DD's on Monday and Saturday and ds's on Tuesday and Friday. If the weather is good I'll wash them everyday if I can. I love the feel of clean sheets.

dimdarkashian · 14/06/2020 23:25

Weekly

okiedokieme · 14/06/2020 23:27

Depends on the weather, haven't got a tumble dryer currently so I'm waiting for a dry day!

PinkSkyBlue · 14/06/2020 23:27

Once a week here, lots of lenor too!
Love a fresh clean bed.

llamaparades · 14/06/2020 23:28

Twice a week but ds 4 ends up in our bed most nights so there is 3 people sleeping in ours

Lurkingforawhile · 14/06/2020 23:28

Every two weeks if it's just me in the bed. If OH is here too (we often sleep in different rooms) then it definitely needs doing more often!

ItsSummer · 14/06/2020 23:30

Biannually, whether the bed needs it or not.

Institutkarite · 14/06/2020 23:31

I wash my bed linen 3 times a day, every day, my husband and I have a shower at 90 degrees, three times a day as well. then we don full hazard suits to enter our separate bedrooms.
We also have automated equipment to whip the bed linen from underneath us in the night.

Must be a slow night

FruitPastillesaregood · 14/06/2020 23:33

Every week. I couldn’t go two weeks!!

PeterPomegranate · 14/06/2020 23:33

Ok. I know these threads always end badly. But every 2 weeks. We alternate every weekend between our bed and our children’s beds. And that’s the truth for good or bad.

(Obviously if a child has wet the bed we change it straightaway)

Khione · 14/06/2020 23:34

Pillow cases weekly

Sheets etc monthly - but I do have a king size bed for one person and alternate which side I sleep on.

Whenever I have had a partner, sheets have been washed weekly
