How often do you wash your bedding?

I wash all the bedding every Sunday. My MIL was absolutely horrified that I washed it that frequently . I was equally shocked that she didn't. I dread to think how frequently she washes her sheets but I wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't changed them since lock down as her cleaner usually does it!!!

OMG 😲 no wonder our planet is dying 🤯

Amberheartkitty · 15/06/2020 01:50

Whenever I feel like it. Or whenever the wash pile is low enough. No schedule.

NeverHadANickname · 15/06/2020 02:16

Every week on a Sunday. It was a nice feeling to get into bed on a Sunday night even when I was working so had to be back to work on a the Monday. I sleep naked or only in underwear though and DH is just in underwear too. I wonder how often people wash pajamas compared to their bedding?

LaureBerthaud · 15/06/2020 02:25

I wash my bed linen 3 times a day, every day, my husband and I have a shower at 90 degrees, three times a day as well. then we don full hazard suits to enter our separate bedrooms

You are a minger!

Hope someone starts a "how often do you wash your towels" thread soon.

Once a week, pillowcases I’ll do twice a week as I am still prone to a spot now and again.
I also wash pillows and duvets once a month.

About once a week.

BBTHREE76 · 15/06/2020 02:39

Every week, but if the weathers bad it might slip to 9 or 10 days. Sometimes twice a week in (rare) heatwaves though.

DameHannahRelf · 15/06/2020 02:40

I don't iron bedsheets, but I do hoover them a few times a week now, as the cat and dog are shedding so much.

ElizabethMainwaring · 15/06/2020 03:10

Once a week. Pillow cases every other day to coincide with hair washing schedule.

ilovesooty · 15/06/2020 04:05

I don't wash mine. I buy a complete new set every two days. Grin

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 15/06/2020 04:07

Well I buy a new set everyday.
Twice a day in warm weather.

BlueVinca · 15/06/2020 04:08

Every time Halley's Comet is visible from Earth. Even if it's not that dirty

VanGoghsDog · 15/06/2020 09:46

I wonder how often people wash pajamas compared to their bedding?

Do you really wonder that? Have you nothing better to think about?

Anyway, I wear two pairs of pyjamas in a week. I only wash them once a week because I live alone and there's no point putting the wash on for two or three days worth of clothes so I wait until I have a full pile.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 16/06/2020 00:44

I never wash my pyjamas..................as I don't wear any. Just sleep in my pants & then bc add a t shirt in the Winter.

YNK · 16/06/2020 00:52

Weekly because I sleep with my dogs.
Clean PJ's 3/4 times a week.
I have an iron somewhere, but I've never used it (I live on my own)

DanniArthur · 16/06/2020 00:58

Once a week, I also fold my duvets every day for airing out the bed. I wash actual duvets and pillows every few months aswell. DP once told me a lovely story about bedbugs that's made me soo paranoid. The rest of my house isnt nearly as clean! Blush

DanniArthur · 16/06/2020 01:00

Oh and fresh jammies every other day, unless we have a jammies day then its clean jammies at night
