How often do you wash your bedding?

I wash all the bedding every Sunday. My MIL was absolutely horrified that I washed it that frequently . I was equally shocked that she didn't. I dread to think how frequently she washes her sheets but I wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't changed them since lock down as her cleaner usually does it!!!

😁😁😁 we wash our sheets and pillowcases weekly and duvets fortnightly

OntheWaves40 · 14/06/2020 23:36

Every 2 or 3 weeks but there’s only me, when I’ve had a partner living with me then more like once a week.

Vargas · 14/06/2020 23:36

"Once a week in summer months and once a week in winter."

same Wink, but I just call it 'weekly'

CoronaIsComing · 14/06/2020 23:36

Every Tuesday

momtoolliex · 14/06/2020 23:39

Every Sunday Smile

BuffaloCauliflower · 14/06/2020 23:40

Weekly, give or take a day or so in either direction depending on the weather as I prefer to dry it outside where I can do will aim for dry days. I love fresh bedding. Could be a bit less frequently in winter though.

BuffaloCauliflower · 14/06/2020 23:41

Should add I often sleep naked in summer and two cats sleep on our bed, so it doesn’t want to be left too long or cat hair is everywhere

Teenangels · 14/06/2020 23:41

Twice a week in the summer, once in the winter, if it is really hot every other day.
6 people in the house, 1 super king, 2 kings and 2 singles.
I work full time, but have 2 sets of bedding for each bed. I hate the thought of sweaty bedding.

BlueJava · 14/06/2020 23:42

Every Saturday- love fresh sheets on a Saturday as I live in on Sundays.

TooGood2BeTrue · 14/06/2020 23:42

Weekly or fortnightly in spring /summer / early autumn and every 4 weeks in winter. I try to line dry my bedding as it comes off smoother and smells fresher than from the tumble dryer.

saveeno · 14/06/2020 23:43

Every single day.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 14/06/2020 23:44

Every 2 to 3 weeks.

Certainly not weekly.

Every single day

Why?

Clymene · 14/06/2020 23:47

Twice a year

Halo1234 · 14/06/2020 23:49

Hmmm when I remember/when I have the time. Prob 2 to 3 weekly. Pull back duvet open windows and air bed daily. Feels fine. I shower every night before getting in and dont think I sweat at night really. I wash clothes/pjs/towels daily (sometimes.2 uses out of towels if there is a washing back log). But not big on changing the sheets as often as u all do....maybe I will start.

runrabbitrunrunrun · 14/06/2020 23:49

Every full moon 🌕

CherryPavlova · 14/06/2020 23:50

Twice a week. I love slipping into a really crisp, fresh bed.

Teenangels · 14/06/2020 23:51

@halo1234 we also shower twice a day and believe me you sweat in your sleep.

UnderCaffeinated · 14/06/2020 23:52

Once a week, on a Tuesday (Team TOMM here!)

HeartGirls · 14/06/2020 23:52

During lockdown I've changed my sheets every other day as I love the feeling of clean sheets.

That's the main thing I will miss when I go back to work, it's been my one luxury.

saveeno · 14/06/2020 23:52

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz

A joke. For the MN folk who wash everything even when they are wearing it! LOL.

Etcni · 14/06/2020 23:53

aim for weekly, realistically up to every 10 days

Quackersandcheese3 · 14/06/2020 23:53

Every 2 weeks . More often in summer.

Viviennemary · 14/06/2020 23:55

Hagisonthehill · 14/06/2020 23:55
