Cleaning vids on youtube

Im addicted. Mainly american women cleaning their whole house. They have barely any "stuff", seem to use amazing gadgets and special cleaning products. And they all have these very flat shiny hardwood floors throughout which they go over with one soak of the mophead.

I thought it would motivate me to clean but I just end up watching them in amongst a mess.

I do this too! It's kind of addictive. They all have such huge houses too

Yes! I get major house envy watching the Americans and their beautiful big homes!
Do you have any favourites? I like watching a woman called How Jen Does It. She has a very big house but when she started making vids her home was very small by American standards and she still made it work.

I like "This Crazy Life" - have bought myself some essential oils (she puts a few drops down the sink after finishing the dishes).

I like any that are late nigjt cleans as this is when I tend to clean so its nice that others like the quiet hours.

Any recommendations on who to subscribe to will be takenA

I may have started narrating in my own head when i clean, "So I just went ahead and wiped it down" 《shame》

Processed pea, watching cleaning videos doesn’t make me a stepford wife though I enjoy pretending I’m making a video when I wipe the sides down.

I have just discovered cleaning videos on YouTube courtesy of my daughter and she will never be a stepford wife, she just uses cleaning as a stress reliever.

I'm going to look up the people suggested here 😊

Oh these are my guilty pleasure too, I have no idea why! I'm hardly a domestic goddess IRL and my lovely cleaner does most things, but there's something so wholesome about them!

I like mama Reid and also Liza prideaux(?) both you tubers, they blog loads of stuff but both have loads and loads of brilliant cleaning videos. And their houses are gorgeous.

I can't get into the American cleaning videos because of the products, I hate seeing them use something amazing knowing I can't get it in the uk. And also get very jealous of the laundry rooms Sad I wish I had one!!!! And then I could have a dishwasher in the kitchen, and an entire room to retreat too when I iron and wash clothes.

I'm totally addicted to them. I enjoy it more when I find a UK one! The ones that got me starts where obsessive cleaners videos that originally showed on channel 4. It does get me a bit down that my home will never be that clean. (Toddler and puppy) but I see how long it takes the American moms to clean and I'm grateful I'm only in a two bed terrace

OMG I found How Jen Does It about a month ago and I AM OBSESSED!! She puts me to shame - it's not just the house but how well she eats, gardens, exercises, gets made up and still has time to read!! She does it all so calmly but god she really works hard - fair play to her.
She's motivating me to be more priductive ( whilst I waste hours watching her lol!)

Ooh ive not long discovered How Jen Does It and This Crazy Life - binge watching interspersed with bursts of cleaning ! I find them more motivating than Fly Lady
