Im addicted. Mainly american women cleaning their whole house. They have barely any "stuff", seem to use amazing gadgets and special cleaning products. And they all have these very flat shiny hardwood floors throughout which they go over with one soak of the mophead.

I thought it would motivate me to clean but I just end up watching them in amongst a mess.

I’ve just bought grapefruit essential oil to pop down my sink after I washed it and a beautiful wooden electric diffuser for our bedroom to stop it smelling of farty DH 😊
I can’t remember which you tube bloggy job I saw that on but I’m running with it (although I don’t recall her mentioning her farty DH...)
My house will smell beautiful!

I am definitely keen on an electric diffuser - I am terrible for leaving candles unattended plus I reckon the diffuser would get the smell round better. I've put it on my wish list for my birthday (in several months time).

Pinterest or Instagram or something also taught me to put drops of essential oil in the inside of a loo roll. It really makes my bog smell delightful! Rest of the house is a complete mess but at least I have a nice smelling loo!

Oooo fragrant bog roll!!! I have to try that 😂
I feel I should have a separate scent for every room.
Kitchen is grapefruit (cos thats what bloggy lady did)
Bedroom is Rose Absolute (because it’s £5 cheaper than rose geranium which is what I really wanted)
Don’t know what I want my bathroom to smell of...I guess pine??

My diffuser is beautiful! It looks like a little ufo on my bedside table!

I feel I should have a separate scent for every room.

Ooh totally stealing this!
Kitchen - lemon (+/- citronella if windows open/flies invading)
Living room - geranium & lavender
Bathroom - ylangylang as I have the method shower spray and the smell now translates as “clean bathroom” to me
Bedroom & Dressing room - jasmine, reminds me of a beautiful boutique hotel in Mexico.

I am totally pinching the Essential oil inside the bog roll tip too. I’ve spotted the electric diffuser too. My DSis has one though but I’ve never walked in to her house and thought “wow, what a beautiful smelling him” but then I’ve never thought it smelt trumpy either Grin

Oh dear, I'm lost down a YT cleaning video wormhole Shock

I like Emily Norris as well.

Another one I like - in a completely different style- is Farmhouse on Boone. She doesn’t really do cleaning videos, but is more about sewing tutorials (I can’t darn a sock to save my life), cooking, diy, simple living etc

I've found my peoples!

I love love love Clutterbug and have bought both of her books and I messaged her once for some advice that I can't even remember what it was for! And she sent a lovely reply back, we exchanged a few messages and she's so nice.

I also love clean my space as she is just so damn organised. I am very jealous of all of the American cleaning products ( Mrs Meyers stuff looks fab ) and the laundry detergent.
I have been ordering "Tide" from Amazon for about 6 months and it's divine. The smell is gorgeous and I often just sniff it.

Disclaimer- I do have diagnosed OCD so am aware I'm a bit weird when it comes to cleaning and organising but I am so much more productive when I have one of these two on in the background.
