So DD3 is having a party on Friday! I need to have at least the downstairs tidy. My utility room and downstairs loo have to be decluttered.

To Do
Washing
Move Christmas Decs out of downstairs shower
Dishes
DH's Dinner

That will do for starters

@mikeyssister you did one thing! It’s a start!

@mikeyssister One thing off the list is more than I got done today; hopefully I can do more ticking things off tomorrow Smile.

From my list I ✅bagged up the clothes for charity and ✅took the dog for 6.5km walk...

I also did:
Light colour wash
Dark wash
Washed all dogs bedding
Vacuumed bottom floor
Brushed out the dogs coat
Cleaned out the dogs crate
Emptied and loaded dishwasher
Half tidied the toy room
Worked in my paid job for 3.5hours
Ordered the groceries

And all day I have looked forward to sharing that! It’s been very motivating. Tomorrow I’m gonna smash the invoices and kitchen clutter... 💪

Ooh! Ooh! I'm going to join you! Love a list.... Not very accountable tho. I'll procrastinate till the very end. I was pretty busy today though but no point in my list being retrospective. Tomorrow is a new day.

I should explain that I often have personal care on my list because of periods of ‘depression’ where some days getting dressed is my biggest achievement. I’m in a good period at the moment and this accountability is really helpful.

Today I will:
Shower, dress, makeup and hair
Finish invoices (come hell or high water!!)
Clear kitchen clutter
Work in my paid job for 7.5 hours
Put away groceries delivery
Clear out fridge of any bad food and wipe it down
✅Groom the dog
Walk the dog
Host Dd friend for dinner and playing
Empty and load dishwasher
Do a bright colours laundry wash
Deliver clothes to charity shop
Vacuum the bottom floor (again, bloody dog!)
Steam clean the bottom floor

@NotTakenUsername I think if something if a tick off your To Do list for the day, then it deserves a place in the list.

I'm planning some chill out time today for various reasons so my list is relatively short:
Post Office
Order new swimsuit
Make dinner
Laundry
Make hair appointment

NotTakenUsername · 13/03/2018 10:13

I think that’s a good thing to plan chill out time. I don’t schedule chill out time and have a lot of guilt when I take it because I’m flat.

@NotTakenUsername Yes I think it's important; and if I don't plan it then it won't happen naturally, life is just too busy for that.
Hair appointment made ✅

Okay, well DH helped me to reset the kitchen last night, so I’ve washed up a bit, made tonight’s meal, and a bread pudding (may have been a mistake, I don’t see it lasting through tomorrow).
I like your thoughts about planning in your things for you. I would really like to lose some weight before the wedding I’m going to in May. This is only going to happen with a bit of planning.

@Coldhandscoldheart Yes I find I need to make a conscious effort to assign time for 'me things'. I could definitely do with assigning more time to exercise Smile.
We will sort out all aspects of our lives with this thread Smile.

I should be pleased with what I achieved but I’m so annoyed with those two tasks I can’t seem to shift... Sad
The invoices especially, as they are overdue and it is so unprofessional.

How does your downstairs loo get cluttered? I'm confused Confused

Report
cikecaka · 14/03/2018 02:06

@FullLaundryBasket, if it's my first post you are referring to, my downstairs loo has a shower in it, that we don't use, it was used to hold Christmas decorations and suitcases etc, it has been moved up to DD 1 & 2's unused ensuite.

Dd just asked me to eat breakfast with her. Everything else can wait. Feeling shit she had to ask. I’ve been sick in the morning for so long and she has been so great and independent that I missed the fact she just wants mum. Sad
