So DD3 is having a party on Friday! I need to have at least the downstairs tidy. My utility room and downstairs loo have to be decluttered.

To Do
Washing
Move Christmas Decs out of downstairs shower
Dishes
DH's Dinner

That will do for starters

Here’s why I need my zen. In the past 15minutes I’ve:
•Discovered Dd with dog, covered in hairs (already dressed in last clean uniform)
•dealt with a mini melt down because the apple dd is drawing isn’t perfect
•and another one because the paper scrumped up when she tried to rub it out
•tried to convince her the banana was fine inside even if it was spotty outside (dd1:0banana)
•argued with the dog about her toy choice (top item from the dark wash I was trying to put on)
•couldn’t find any bloody change for school dinners... well I did eventually but you know.
•went and got the lint remover to clean Dd up
•no food in suitable for break (groceries coming today) so she’s sent off with a chocolate biscuit and I feel like shit.

Ffs I get it: it’s life and it’s part of being a mum but sometimes I just want to go somewhere and scream swear words or cry or probably scream swear words and then cry...!

I can hear and understand your frustration @NotTakenUsername. Then there is times when it's all running smoothly but you are still anxious that it's all going to change.

Have been downtown
All washing done last night had been hung up to dry
DH's dinner on
Wash on.
Cleaned bathroom sink
Bleached Loo

Now to clean the squalor that my house has descended into
Tidy sitting room
Clean out fire
Set for later
Dust

Dishes
Washing
Counters
Sort Clothes
Brush Floor
DC's Dinner

Have been away & out of internet for all weekend & a bit which was lovely. But back to this bastard flat.
So tomorrow
washing, washing washing
Drying drying drying
putting everything away my most hated part of the laundry process.

Try to empty & clean the inside of the car, it’s like a mobile waste bin.

Possibly rip up the revolting living room carpet, I think I’ve had it, it depresses me so much.

Make something for tea involving tenderloin & pasta. It doesn’t sound a very likely combination, but toddler has requested spaghetti & the tenderloin won’t last another day. Maybe with spinach?

Dunno. There’s lots of other things. I’ve a bag of baby clothes as big as I am that needs to be sorted out, but I really can’t be bothered.

First wash has finished. I am sitting in the rocker with baby thinking about coffee.
I’m thinking about it, I don’t know what she’s thinking about.
Nottaken if you need the rest, have the rest, you will be more productive than dragging yourself about exhausted.
I have remembered I think I’m supposed to be going out tonight.

Welcome Strawberry, to our lovely little list making group.

NotTaken, you did enough for a week. Rest now.

Had to cancel my Physio this morning, as DD1 was having a hard time trying to get up to go to her CBT. Wrote a list while I was waiting, will be back in a minute

Hey,

I've so far:

washed the dishes
wiped over kitchen surfaces
bleached downstairs loo
made beds
tidied the kids rooms
put washing machine on
hoovered downstairs

still need to spruce up the upstairs bathroom, sort out the laundry and do afternoon school run. Just having a bit of grub at the moment though Smile

So I slept for a while and I’ve come downstairs and realised the cleaning fairy definitely doesn’t exist and it’s all on me. Sad

So everything is of course left undone and now I need to speed clean/tidy to get everything done by 1500...

Right I’m so sinking. No motivation, messing about on the internet, tired heavy body. So worried about Dd and how to help her and how to be a good mum to two children when I’m struggling to support her with her challenges. I’m angry when her peers hurt her, (yes also children, I’m not proud), I don’t know what to do. I don’t even know how to explain it. I’m so scared she wont get a diagnosis because I don’t tell them about it right, and we will be at see again... or that she won’t get one because she is actually fine and I am just not a good mum. I want to have another duvet day but I don’t, iyswim. I need to keep swimming, but today and yesterday I am drowning.

@NotTakenUsername that sounds so tough. I know it's easy for me to say but please try not to be so hard on yourself; you are having a really tough time at the minute with your DD and being pregnant, it's only natural to struggle at times.
How far along are you in your pregnancy?

I’m only 14 weeks but I’m bumpy and sore already. Pretty sure this little one is grabbing onto my bladder like a comfort blankie (I understand this isn’t possible but it’s how it feels!)

Dd had a good night sleep that will help her so much, and to be honest writing that rant down helped to get it out and let it go for a while at least.

I’m working on a to do list for today. The thing is when I stop the chores and mess doesn’t stop growing so then when I reengage I have a mountain to climb. So off loading does help a lot!

Morning all, Am back from the school run. Just having a cuppa before i crack on with the chores. Lets do this! Smile

@Nottaken - Both my pregnancies i felt rubbish the first trimester. So tired and sore all the time and grumpy. DH deserved a medal putting up with my foul mood swings at times. Take the day at your own pace and the chores one by one.

I feel like this deserves its very own post:

I’ve got the cover letter written! Yaas! I will post that along with the invoice I was battling with on the school run, and that will be a tidy little extra £1k coming our way which will help with the furnishing the nursery situation a lot.

Pity I couldn’t just throw money at the clearing out the nursery situation too... sigh.

I can’t even explain how different my day would be if I hadn’t blarted all my stuff on this thread before 7am... thanks so much everyone! 💕

I find ‘writing chores’ very difficult (even when there is £1k at the end of it), so this is a big win for me today!!
