So DD3 is having a party on Friday! I need to have at least the downstairs tidy. My utility room and downstairs loo have to be decluttered.

To Do
Washing
Move Christmas Decs out of downstairs shower
Dishes
DH's Dinner

That will do for starters

Ah now that makes sense no one but us refers to a press. It's great fun explaining that one to the Spanish students who stay with us.

Can I join in too?

Today I'm hoping to:
Wash out fridge
Hoover hall
Hang out washing
Fold washing
Eat a proper lunch
Return something to a shop

Have I found my people...? (Please say I have found my people..,)

Can I join in too? I’m currently 12 weeks pregnant, in my pjs (which I wore under a large coat on the school run) hugging the dog and procrastinating on Mumsnet.

Get a shower
Get dressed, hair and make up
De-clutter dinner table
Empty and load dishwasher
White wash
Dark wash
Bright colours wash
✅ Brush the dogs coat out
Walk the dog
Write invoices
Bag up Dd old clothes for donating
Work in my paid employment for 3hours
Clean middle bathroom

cikecaka · 09/03/2018 11:26

Welcome all, delighted you can join me in my list making!

Change back into pjs after being down town
Tidy sitting room
Clean out fire
Dust
Light fire
Make DHs dinner
Wash dishes
Counters
1 hr decluttering photos

mikeyssister · 09/03/2018 13:54

Guys how are you doing the green tick?

mikeyssister · 09/03/2018 14:04

Fold washing

Well I've walked the dog - not on my list though. And that's me all over.

cikecaka · 09/03/2018 14:04

It's in my emojis, near the end of them. I had to scroll to nearly the last lot of them

I have finished putting cds into the cd holder case thing. I am hoping to get through the rest of them so I can take all the empty cd cases to the charity shop, but little Miss No-naps has finally fallen asleep on me. Which is annoying but necessary. There are likely to be six bags of cases by the time I’ve finished Shock?

mikeyssister · 09/03/2018 14:45

Dammit I'm on a laptop

Did fuckall today. Vaguely planning tomorrow. I really, really want to get the CDs finished, those things to the charity shop & also the bumbo to charity shop.
Also would like to do a reset of the kitchen, and a really good vacuum round. Chance’ll be a fine thing.

NotTakenUsername · 12/03/2018 08:45

I did very little. Went to my mums in a hoodie, morning sickness not quite passed yet. Sad

Today I am ticking every bloody thing on the list above before I do anything else!!

Coldhandscoldheart · 12/03/2018 09:39

Ugh, if you have morning sickness you shouldn’t be holding yourself to any kind of list imo! I got a wave of motion sickness in the car yesterday & thought thank god I don’t ever have to have morning sickness again!
I have nearly finished the cds, than baby wanted attention, so that’s still waiting, but so nearly there.

GoodnightVienna53 · 12/03/2018 10:31

Ooh this looks like a great thread, I'll join too if I may? For me, my aim is to be more efficient and get as much done as I can with limited time.

Tasks today:
Make dinner
Make soup
Make some phone calls
Finish sorting the boxes of books in the attic
Prepare items for post office, walk to post office with children and post them.
Time to get stuck in Smile

cikecaka · 12/03/2018 11:20

Welcome Goodnight!

Today's list
DH's Dinner
Tidy sitting room
Wash Dishes
Counters
Put on a wash
Bring all washing down
An hour sorting photos
DC Dinner
Clear up after it

I set a list for work today, did one thing and then got distracted by mumsnet. I'm a total lost cause.

GoodnightVienna53 · 12/03/2018 18:31

Thanks cikecake.
My plans for the day were completely derailed when I realised the package I needed to post wouldn't fit into the base of the pram which made our planned trip out a bit pointless.
However, I wanted (neededGrin) to get the children out for a bit so we paid a visit I've been meaning to pay for weeks now. So a productive day, if not quite what I had planned.

And children are bathed and ready for bed so I might get one or two things from my list done before the end of the day.
